Maybe we were there too early and the season hasnt started properly yet so the hotel hasnt been cleaned properly. Every where were spiderwebs, some tiles missing by the pool doors, broken flower pods not the dirty things just untidy I would say, or maybe better house keeper. And we didnt like girl by the pool, she didnt speak any language except Hungarian, which I understand, some people just dont speak english or german or whatever but she was rude, she just ignored us even thou I was trying to comunicated somehow.

It's nice complex on the end of the dead end street on a hill so from each room you can see the lake Balaton. Our room was quite big with comfy beds and the morning lights coming in, which was nice (there are blankets if you want to sleep till noon:-) Women in the reception was very nice and helpful. We rented a bike and went around, to the center of Tihany it is 10min max, lake Belso 5min. (There are plenty of small funny animals groundhog and huge cows) Breakfast was normal, nothing special, chees, ham, bread, yougurt...normal. There is indoor pool with the outside area for sitting.

The pool was super cold, and it was 1,80mts I went with my son because we wanted to swim and have pool, but it wasn’t kids friendly because it was cold, and because it was very very deep. Also there are many different buildings so you need to go out and walk in the cold to get to the wellness (and after being in sauna or pool, again walk outside in the cold to come back to the room) And the view of the lake is not the same in all the rooms, we were in last building so the view was very little

Food was ok but it could do with an improvement. Poor selection in fresh vegetables or fruit. Vegetarian won’t have much to choose from. Swimming pool area was not very clean and many amenities were out of order. Overall buildings could do with cleaning as spider webs and bugs were present everywhere. Kitchen had fridge and electric kettle, nothing else, not suitable for simple things such as reheating food. Air con worked however it seemed that it needed some attention (debris, fungi etc…)

The 2 bedroom suite located on second floor of building A was really comfortable and had amazing view. 4 course supper was a plus. Staff were very friendly and helpful all the way, well done!

Dusty room, too plushy and soft mattresses, yellow stains on fresh bed linings just spoiled a little the overall positive impression.

The evening meal let's this place down. Literally just 2 options for dinner, pork or chicken. Set starters were OK. Its a shame because the staff were so friendly, professional and helpful

Staff were great, location boasts a great view of the lake. However be prepared for a hike down steep stone steps to the lake.. Suites are very clean and comfortable. Aircon was a blessing and the balcony was fantastic.

Room facilities below average. Weak internet with many drop outs. Breakfast is very average. Wellness facilities are used and below average.

Location is great. Room size is better than average. Big balcony with nice view. Great restaurant on the terrace with ala carte menu. We were lucky enough to have excellent live music.

The room seemed to be a bit dirty. Few towels or soap were provided despite requests. The air conditioning did not work despite two attempts to fix it by the technician. The light in the bathroom did not work. Most importantly, the management seemed un-interested in finding solutions or compensating us. The fact that the air conditioning did not work was a major problem. The fact that our room could not be changed and the management basically told us they could do nothing, and refrained from offering a discount or some type of compensation, was simply unacceptable.

Has potential; just needs someone to take a little time to make some simple changes that would make all the difference in the overall experience had by guests. I noticed the ratings weren't very strong for this lodging, but assumed they were including both breakfast and dinner in their rate because they had made some improvements and it was a way to draw guests in to update their reviews. After arriving, I realized this was completely my assumption as the complaints made by other reviewers were still present. My observations on what could be improved: 1) Partial View - Booking states you'll get a lakeview room and while technically I had that, I would call it a partial view. This could be resolved by simply pruning the overgrown shrubs that block the lake view (which could be breathtaking otherwise). 2) Damaged Furnishings - There were details in the room that made it feel a bit neglected, such as torn curtains, a broken A/C grid, a makeshift TV console, and a few other details. 3) Poor Quality Food - The breakfast was fine, but the dinner tasted like microwaved frozen meals. Due to this, we informed staff we wouldn't be attending dinner for our remaining night and decided to eat out instead. 4) No Housekeeping - I didn't see this mentioned on the listing when I booked, but we were there for 3 nights and never had as much as a towel change or a basic room tidying. 5) Wellness Area Hours - May not be a negative point for others, but their pool area opens at 9am and closes at 7pm, which meant we personally couldn't use the facility as we were exploring the lake area during the day and having breakfast/dinner at the hours it opens/closes. Opening from 8am - 9pm would make all the difference. 6) Painful Showerhead - The large bathtub was our favorite part of the room, partially because we could not take a shower as the water jetted out everywhere with a painful level of pressure that was nonadjustable.

Everything was amazing!! Nice room, marvellous view from the room. The food was brilliant and sufficient! Wellness is also great for this price. I could only recommend for people who want to have a nice chill at lake Balaton.

I've read the other's guests rates , but I can't agree with negative things in it. I didn't find any.

Large, clean, comfortable, great decorated room with plenty of beautiful details. Great view from the balcony, relaxing spa, helpful staff (many thanks to the man at the reception desk with the help in buying the best Hungarian souvenirs!). Good breakfast, great evening meals (a bit too big for us))). Hope to stay here next time.

Old buildings, renovated very long time ago, old furniture in the rooms, dirty dishes with oily fingerprints on, broken shower, clogged drains in all bathrooms in the apartment, a not working TV, and huge, scarry spiders everywhere on the corridor. We didn't see once cleaning stuff on our 5 days stay. Literally we had to take down every day the spider's web just not to find any surprise on our head ... The breakfast was really poor. Definitely not a 4 stars luxury hotel. Very disappointing for the price they ask...

The waitresses were kind. And the view its nice to the Balaton lake.
