The owners were very friendly, communication was easy and the apartment was great! We got help with parking our car for several days, which was really useful. The location of the apartment is excellent. A lot of tourist attractions are in walking distance and the tram station is very close.

The main downside is that the bed in the small bedroom was quite uncomfortable, the mattress and the pillows were too soft. The bed in the large bedroom was okay, though. And since it's an old building, the air could get stuffy inside if not ventilated. Some small stuff were missing as well: an extra towel, a shelf in the bathroom, a bedside table in the small bedroom.

The location is great, it's close to public transport so you can quickly get to the city center. There's lots of restaurants nearby, grocery shops, you can walk along the Danube right next to the building. It seems like a very nice area. The place looked pretty clean and had all the amenities you would expect: towels, toiletries, tableware. We were able to self check-in and pay online for our stay.

Nice and comfortable apartment on really lovely location next to the river and just couple of minutes walk to Margit Island. Tons of pubs, coffee and bakeries around. Host was very friendly and did everything to make us feel comfortable.

Ignore unhappy face, i can't edit it!! We liked everything, we are over 70 year old and perfect location for us.

Location excellent. Incredible view from window (see photo)! Right near Danube, walking distance to parliament building. Bought 3 day tram pass - easy access to trams. Agnes, owner had lots of suggestions of places to see. She also had brochures and maps that showed us easy access to everything. gabbys for breakfast was on main floor by our by our building. Agnes Even has their phone programmed to touch M3 and call our taxi for airport. Kitchen equipped with coffee, lively bowl or fruit and wine awaited us.

Magnificent apartment in the very center of Budapest. Clean and comfortable. Safety and comfort for an adequate price. Responsive hosts were very helpful in dealing with parking in the center of Budapest. Thank you very much! If I get a chance, I will definitely come back.

All, our hosts were very helpfull. They helped us to buy parking and showed where is the chipest one. They recomended 2 Gretą restaurants next to the apartament. The appartment was comfortable, we were given welcome gify. It was located very close to bus and tram stop. Olimpic park albo very close where our son played and enjoy fresk air. We are very satisfied with this appartment.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Location was excellent, we spent a lot of time on Margaret Island at the baths on each morning before it got too busy. The owners were very accommodating with our difficulty with our payment due to a phone issue with roaming, they also were very helpful on the day of check out. We met with the cleaner who was very polite and friendly and gave us time to organize ourselves.

The location is beautiful, in the very heart of Budapest on the picturesque bank of the Danube river. Lots of restaurants and sightseeing places around. The apartment is huge, gorgeous, fully equipped, has a dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, oven, and everything you need. The host is super helpful and lovely. We enjoyed every second of our stay and would love to come back!

Everything was perfect!!!

If you want to have a nice stay in Budapest, choose Green Door! It is a great location and the owner is very helpful. He waited for us in front of the building and even helped us find a parking space, which meant a lot to us. Also, it is the first location in Budapest where we are greeted with a house wine and a fruit basket. Wonderful! The apartment has a large room overlooking the Danube and a smaller room, but enough for two teenagers to sleep. The building has a special charm, as does the Green Door apartment. You can walk to visit the most important attractions of the city, and if you prefer public transport the stations are very close. There is a wide range of restaurants in the area.

the only thing i didnt like was the surround on the bed when i get out of bed in the morning felt like i was getting out of a crib lol,but thats a minor thing really .

The Green door is a hidden Gem , its central to budapest and its a stones throw to the public transport , the apartment is quiet and when you come back from the busy city its nice to come to a warm apartment and chill how you want to , you dont hear the neighbours ,.im going back next year god willin.

The apartment is located in the very nice old house, really close to the city centre and Margaret island. It was ideal for four of us. The host was excellent, there was also a high chair and baby cot ready for use. We have a great time in Budapest.

It might be better to have a darker curtain on the window of the single room so that at night when someone walks by and the bright automatic light switches ON, it is less visible from the bed.
