The landlord was very proactive and gave us GPS coordinates to reach the property hassle free (Google address is not accurate). The room was large, with a high ceiling, tipical for old style houses in the countryside, which is something we appreciate very much, as it provides enough air and we always rest very well in this kind of rooms. It has a very well equiped kitchenette, which we did not use at all, since we stayed one night only. The bathroom is large and functional. The whole appartment was spotless clean. We enjoyed having no strange odors, like mold, cigarette smoke or old furniture. The mattresses are firm and cosy. The pilows are great too (I was afraid of those types of soft, fluffy pillows, where your head sinks into it, to the point you choke because it covers your nose and mouth, but it wasn't the case). The place must be a lot nicer during spring/summer, when all is green. However, for us it was a great place to stop over night, recover from the 10 hours drive and start afresh in the morning for another 10-12 hours of driving. The hostes is very kind and she speaks very good English. She was kind enough to offer us home made cookies when we arrived. I cannot recommend what type of activities one can do while staying at this property, but if nothing else, at least is good for rest, for the fresh countryside air, away from the city noise and traffic. It has a slow pace which is good for the mind and body.

Such a nice place to stay. You can relax in the garden and enjoy the countrylife. I fell in love with the lady. She’s so lovely. The comfort of the stay was amazing. Sadly we could only stay for 1 night.

The stay was perfect for our family. Wonderfully spacious room. Quiet environment. Slept well. We were outside the check-in time, because we had to wait a long time at the border. This was no problem. The hostess was waiting for us outside. Very friendly reception. We felt very welcome. Highly recommended by us.
