How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Distance from the airport. The communication and transport system.
Apart from the distance 40 mins drive rests of the services are absolutely ok.

Watch out for the parking. It’s not free, and the sign telling you that and prices is very easily missed. The staff don’t say a word about it on check in.

No kettle in the room. It would be nice to be able to make a coffee or tea in the morning.

WiFi was not available at all, the bathroom was very old and the water did not leave from bathub and sink as expected. Moreover, the bathroom can not be properly ventilated and after using it the whole apartment smelled of dampness and after turning on the air conditioning there was some smell and dust . Also the carpets were in general very old, and damaged. In general below the usual quality that Ibis Hotels normally offer.
Easy to find location with enough space for parking and the vicinity of public transportation and the shopping center with supermarkets. Moreover the restaurant was very nice and the breakfast was delicious.

The hotel wifi wasn't working for the entire duration of our stay. It was already broken before we arrived and we weren't notified, nor were we compensated for the inconvenience in any way. If we had known in advance, we would've stayed elsewhere. Although the property is located across the road from a metro station and bus stop, it takes quite a while to get to the main tourist attractions.
The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. It was clean and the decor was modern. Breakfast was very reasonably priced and there was a good variety to choose from.

It would be great if the room had Wi-Fi, but unfortunately it didn't, good value for money, if it had Wi-Fi it would be a 10

The water in the bathroom did not have enough pressure so we did not fully enjoyed our showers. The worst thing during our stay was that the wifi was unavailable. They told us that they would fix it but they did not. Of course it was in the christmas days, but they could give us a refund as an apology for that.
The room was nice and comfy. We were warm and we could adjust the temperature of the room. There was space to put our clothes in and the room had everything we needed.

The corridor was warmer than the room and I didn’t like the meal I ordered, lots of potato hardly any meat with it and it wasn’t freshly prepared, totally cooled out by the time it was served

No fridge in the bedroom (though used the balcony as one, with November cold outside!) There was a buzzing noise by the door that never stopped.
Location was perfect as being close to the metro for ride to the airport. A good welcome at reception and a nice cosy room where I was not disturbed. Breakfast good!

A little pricey for budapest prices.

We liked the view outside our balcony. It was silent..since it was far from the hustle,bustle of the city. The best thing is there is Shopmark just beside the hotel at walkable distance.
