Illaberek Turistaház is a modern, newly built, very stylish tourist destination. It's proximity to Velencei Tó makes it a perfect location to visit the lake and the beaches, while you can also explore the nearby hills and tourist routes. Bikes for rent are available. The shared fridge and kitchen are up to the highest standards, Backpackers can prepare their meal, and a la carte breakfasts are also available. The shared dining room and lounge is very cozy, and the hammocks at the veranda makes it perfect for chats and tranquil wine tasting.

We liked everything

This place is FANTASTIC!!!!! PLEASE stay here. It was just brilliant, the whole place is new and modern and clean and staff is fantastic. Location is superb. Go to the local wine cellars which are 3 minutes from the place and cheap and fantastic!!!!?

A mix-up with room reservations had us sitting in the lobby close to midnight waiting to get the room we actually booked and paid.

Friendly staff, animal friendly location, surrounded by nature. Generous breakfast, overall great value for money paid.

There was no one at the property when we arrived altough I've communicated the arrival time. Altough the host arrived after 5 minutes, the place was completely empty, looked like no one was living there in a while, despite the great photos. It might have been clean, but the smell was awful and it felt like the windows haven't been opened in a while. Also, the kitchen ware were dirty, and there was a pile of dirty dishes in a cabinet. It definitely made us wonder if there is anything clean there. Sadly, a very unpleasant stay and altough we were hoping to get breakfast there, the conditions made us run away early in the morning.

The room was very small with almost no furniture or depositing space. There are not enough parking places. We had to park our car done the hill and climb with the luggages. Durring the night there were some very noisy guests and there was no one from the staff to signalise the situation to.

The location is pretty, with a very nice design. The terrace is also very coussy. We only stayed 1 night so there is no much to be said.

Unfortunately, the staff does not speak English; communication was difficult, was done via Google Translate. It took over 15 minutes for me to take over the room/room key. There are no facilities for dinner at the property; you can only order online, the restaurants in the neighborhood close until 21.00. A 10-minute drive away is a very good restaurant that closes ~ 10 p.m....https://goo.gl/maps/Pi4ZqHX1GNKrESnR9. I also had problems with paying the amount related to breakfast; The POS did not work and I had to transfer money (check the account, etc.), not very pleasant to waste time when you are in transit and you are in a hurry. Last but not least: somehow the kitchen can also be used by guests and is semi-open; in the dining area on the ground floor and in the circulation spaces, a smell of cabbage it was present, not very pleasant.

The property is located in a relaxing, quiet, country side area. Although the conditions did not look very promising, I slept very well. Good breakfast. It is very possible that the property was not suitable for my actual purpose (transit) and offered other (interesting) possibilities that I did not benefit from.
