I enjoyed the deer coming in the night in the garden, the park, the Mitteleuropa atmosphere, the very interesting guide to the castle and the cultural depth of the castle's history. To sleep n a place that had been neglected after the war and fallen into disrepair, to come to live again was manificent.

It was difficult to find Reception from parking location in the night especially when it was raining and thunderstorm. There is really needed to put a big sign in the parking lot with the direction towards Reception.

We liked our rooms. they were connected and at the same time separate. It was very appropriate for a family stay. Rooms were quite. Bathroom was clean and tidy.

It is a castle, só dont expect a modern 5* place. We ordered the half board. It is a prefixed menu and quite a big portion. However there is not a big choice and if you are not into meat, gluten or lactose check beforehand so that they can offer you alternative options.

Amazing place, really interesting tour (even the kids enjoyed it!). Really worth visiting. Hope to come back soon.

There was no tea or coffee facilities in the room.

Beautiful castle and grounds. We stayed in a balcony room on the top floor - this had a large bathroom, bedroom, and semi separate sitting area (with a single bed if you had a third person). Room was comfortable, quiet and well equipt. We had 'half board' with dinner and breakfast included. Dinner was 4 courses set menu - very satisfying. Breakfast was a cold buffet and a hot meal (eggs/sausages etc) was made to order for each person. The food was good value for money. The grounds and the castle setting were magical. We enjoyed the walk around the lake. Highly recommend!

When we arrived in the evening it was dark and was a bit difficult to find the main entrance, a small light or some kind of sign would have helped.

Fantastic place with character, one of the best places we stayed in Hungary. Breakfast was nice but we wished we stayed outside but was cold. Very spacious room with and wonderful bathroom. Slept very well.

we really loved the facility. located in a beautiful Hungarian village in the forest the hotel mansion is renovated, and has an amazing vibe.

It was a nice stop while travelling to Croatia but not only. I recommend this place especially for those who enjoy places like that, palaces. Our room were not big, they were huge. The breakfast was rather normal and typical, however, the range of juice kinds was superb.

The hotel should disclose that the in the case of the two bedroom suites, access to the bathroom from the second bedroom is through the first bedroom, not always acceptable to groups needing two bedrooms.

The breakfast was luxurious with an extraordinary selection on the buffet and excellent made to order dishes promptly made as well, in a wonderful location. Dinner was also provided, and it was also excellent service. The hotel facilities are excellent and the large grounds are wonderful and well maintained. The entire experience, including many fine touches, was superb,, all at a very reasonable cost.
