Austria44 reviews15 helpful votes“Good value, nice interior, in the old city centre”The entire apartment is heated by air-conditioning, having 3 floor-standing inside units that blow the warm air. This was a minor nuisance (noise and air movement also in the bedroom while sleeping). There is no door between the bedroom and the kitchen/dining, and so if one guest has an early breakfast it might be quite noisy for the one who is still sleeping. May not be an issue for all. We were puzzled by a few minor things, like: - no sockets to plug in the toaster and the coffee machine (so those appliances couldn't be used) - no kitchen towels provided in the kitchen (we used a towel), and cutlery were rather incomplete
Perfect location in the old town centre of Kőszeg, right next to the Jurisics Castle. The apartment is on two floors with an internal staircase, downstairs a living room, an infra-sauna (we did not use it) and another room for storage. Upstairs is the bedroom, kitchen/dining and the bathroom. The interior and all the furniture are very nice, the bed is very comfortable, and you have everything that you would need for a short stay. The surrounding was very quite at this time of the year (February). We never met the host but got precise instructions for check-in, which worked very well. Car parking on the streets nearby is possible, we got permit from the apartment. There are many restaurants nearby in walking distance.

Australia151 reviews14 helpful votes“Looks good but lots of annoying things”Cooktop trips the circuit board so can't be used. No tea towels, dishwashing tablets, salt, pepper or oil. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher from previous guests. Shower floods bathroom floor. Vanity basin glass front panel detached (and could fall). Sheets are too small for the bed and can't be tucked in. Poor communication from the owner/manager - messages not answered. Only able to get code for key safe on arrival by ringing the owner - luckily they answered. Nobody on-site to help.
Excellent location. Good Wi-Fi. Good air conditioning.

Hungary2 reviews“Great location but avoid if you have asthma”We had only two problems, but they were major. First one: the apartment is recently renovated, BUT as the building is a couple hundred years old, the ground floor walls and slabs suck the moisture out of the ground - first time stepping in was like we got into an old wine cellar. We had to vent out the bad air all night which was not an easy task as the windows didn't have tilt function and it was 2 degrees Celsius outside. As someone who has asthma it was a very uncomfortable experience. Second one: the parking is not 20 meters away. If you want to park your car legally, you have to walk a couple hundred meters away.
The location is superb. The apartment is recently renovated with good taste, great interior design ideas.
