The two indian guys in the room had been unrespectful, talking at the phone day and night, regardless to my request to not make noise and I had to contact the receptionist many times about that situation. Never seen such stupid people.

I have reserved a bed in a six bedroom but they assigned me a 4 bedroom, shared with other 3 guys for the whole month. I paid 2,04 € extra on the reservation.

Hard to check in by yourself.

The owner helped so much, even though I didn’t have a SIM card and access to internet, somehow reached out to him and proceeded thru the gates to check in. The sheets were clean and fresh.

Dirty parts of the hostel, unpleasant staf. We coudn’t enter our room at 15.30 because it wasn’t clean, even though check in time is 15h. We had to wait for more than an hour.

There is no signs or labels outside the building, at the night I had to ask some local owner shops in order to find the hostel since its a flat in apartment.

Cozy, nice place very close to Keleti Train Station, nice owner. Not the best circumcitances but for the price you it is ok.

as it is close to the main road, the noise of cars passing by is quite disturbing especially during the night. a lot of emergency transport vehicles also passed by throughout the day so if you are sensitive to noise, I wouldn't recommend staying here. the room is also quite dusty but it is understandable due to the old condition of the building.

the staff was very welcoming when we first arrived and showed us around the accommodation. the location is also great as it is very close to a transport link. the facilities are also quite nice for the price we paid. All in all, if you are looking for a cheap but good stay, this accommodation is a good choice.

Well, I won't suggest this for a traveller because at the end of the day, you need some privacy and nice sleep which you won't find here. See attached pics.

It is near to Budapest Kaleti station, Just 5 mins walk and on main street. Caretaker and staff were nice and responsive and explained me city on map as well.

We only saw the manager a few times as he was doing deliveries on his motorbike. The Kitchen was dirty so we cleaned it up(blame the other guests). We noticed that the shower area was about the only part of the floor that was moped. The shower head was broken and the shower curtain was too short so the floor was always awash from other guests.

The location was excellent as the underground and the main train station were very close by.

when we arrived the guy barely said a word, there are weird manikins everywhere which was disconcerting nothing was clean and the kitchen smelled awful. there was no cutlery until the third night the stove barely worked the shower was absolutely disgusting and the floor by the sink was always soaked. for whatever reason there are hundreds of empty pickle jars which I’m assuming were intended to be used as glasses as there were none although I never braved using one. the fridge looked like it had never been cleaned and the microwaved looked like it has lived quite a life. it had all the facilities it listed but whether you have the courage to use them is questionable.

Downstairs you need to remember the key number and then hurry because there is a second door that is opened with the same procedure. When we arrived, he appeared to be directive, but after a few words and a joke, the mood changed and we felt welcome. We did not like the first room which he offered, but then we could switch to another one :-) for the same price because it was free.

direct opposite of railway station. The sign "Hostel" downstairs is only visible if you come from railway station, not if you come from the city side the guy waited for us at the announced time in the evening. He sleeps in the same location upstairs, so in case of issues you could reach him, but he did not disturb us during our stay. We could work as we wanted. Checkout was easy, we just left the keys at the door. Nice design for train lovers.

1. Hostel was extremely dirty and stinky. For this price we didn't expect much but what we have seen was unacceptable. We stayed up for 5 days - it was dirty when we arrived and it was dirty when we left. Noone cleaned it up even once. We include pictures. 2. Before the arrival we texted hostel owner if he prefered payment in EUR or HUF. He told us it was no difference and we can pay however we want. When we arrived with EUR he told us that they don't use this currency there and he could not give us the change so we had to overpay. What else could we do in this situation? Noone would change us money in foreign currency anyway... 3. Shower curtain did not cover up the shower so every single shower was a new flood. 4. In the corridor was a mannequin dressed up in sexy ladies' lingerie. It was totally creepy and my girlfriend was scared to sleep in there. 5. We don't recommend this hostel. Even for that price it was too expensive.

Basically the hostel is dirty. The kitchen is disgustingly dirty. It is located on a very busy street, it is noisy all the time, also at night.

It's not a typical hostel, rather a flat with 6 beds. It's quite tight.

Comfortable beds, clean, owner is always there for you. Quite good location. 5 mins of walk and you underground and buses that will take you wherever you want. Each bed has a big cage in which you can leave your luggage. There are no bunk beds, so you won't have to climb :)

One day, my roommate had a very noisy ventilator on, which I had to turn off to be able to fall asleep.

Bathroom and toilet just next to the bed, everything was clean. Plenty of towels to use. The room was quiet despite being located at Baross tér, one of the busiest places in Budapest (hostel is located on the yard side, not the street side). The staff was helpful, too. :)

The overall aroma of the hostel was not impressive. The location was good, next to the main train station, but the building is very old and there is no clear signs of the property outside so it's hard for the very first time to locate it.

Actually the place was the cheapest option in budhapist but i would say it needs improvement.
