It is lovely hotel placed on the bank of Balaton. Spa is great, especially masagess. It is great that all staff is Hungarian!

LUA is a perfect combination of location, luxury room, amazing spa with private beach and plenty Michelin stars deserved restaurant. My special thanx will goes to plenty of people, terapists for massages, Andras R. for best ever treatment during dinner and wine advice - many many thanks - and lady at reception who solve my every request with smile. We will be back.

The spa area lacks seclusion. It is set in the open space connected with the pool area so it isnt very quiet and it is brightly lit. It does not provide quiet and relaxing atmosphere one wants in a spa area. We missed some kind of a cold pool or bath one could imerese in after comming out of sauna. We find it cumbersome that swimming suits were required in all of the saunas, especially the hotel being adult only.

The quiet location next to the lake is perfect. The hotel is new, with modern design, and the room was clean and comfy. The breakfast was great, with big variety of food to choose from, the pastry was very good and the coffee served was espresso.

The location and the hotel absolutely exceeded our expectation. If I’d evaulate the property with one word, it would be the perfect! From the modern, sophisticated design of the property, thru the quite, appropriate for all needs wellness Spa and the Bistro-Restaurante with Michelin-Recommendation, to the kindness and courtesy of all Personal of the Hotel, everything was just amazing.

Bar closed at 23 oclock is nonsense. Magazines and hotel info should be in English as well.

Amazing Xmas decoration, room big enough including big bathroom. Perfect breakfast selection. Lucky to meet chocolate pralinee lady next to bar, this should be kept.

Maybe that the parking could be included in the nightly price or that there are certain daily specials for the menu at dinner.

Overall the whole stay, room, spa, food and staff was fantastic. The breakfast was plentiful, fresh and fantastic quality with great coffe. Also for dinner it was perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The spa area was clean and had plenty to offer to relax. I took two treatments, which were very relaxing and of great service.

Lack of food options , if you are not dining in the restaurant, the bar / room service menu is snacks not meals . Hotel also played extremely loud music in atrium area til 10pm. Not sure who decided that all guests in the entire hotel wanted to listen to a Frank Sinatra cover band til 10 pm involuntarily in their rooms at night , but there was no way of escaping it.

Great spa , good service from employees , clean and comfortable rooms .

The “signature” massage was a disappointment, the lady barely touched the muscles. Later we saw her wiping the floors and the next day serving at the restaurant, so looks like there is no professional masseuse at the facility. And also the pools are kinda cold for autumn, especially the outside one is only 34°, so you can not really enjoy during the cold weather.

The only thing we didn’t like was the piped music in the beach area it was on a loop and consisted of poor covers of popular songs. Instrumental would be better it got so annoying after a few days.

It’s advertised as dog friendly, which it was, but you couldn’t take the dogs to all the places. The restaurant, on the beach etc completely understandable. But you couldn’t take dogs to the table seating area at the beach bar, with a view of the lake, but sitting away from the pool/ lake beach. It would have been nice to have more dog allowed areas outside. The rooftop bar was too noisy for our dogs with the club style music. We left them in the room a lot when at the hotel, which is not really what we wanted to do with our stay.

Drinks were expensive, and they charged a lot of service charge. The cocktails were not good at all. Little bit far from the centre, and it is right next to a campsite with lots of kids and they swim over to the adults only beach. Parking isn't free.

Very modern, clean, amazing interior, polite and friendly staff, lovely private beach and spa, tasty and well presented breakfast. Been nice not having to listen to kids screaming and crying when we were trying to relax in the Hotel/spa.
