Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

HungaryThe breakfast was buffet, until 10 am but at 9:35 all the veggie part was already empty and and also some other things which were not refilled. If it is anounced until 10 am I would suggest to refill the plates, otherwise buffet is only until 9:30 max.
The staff was very kind and flexible . The receptionists are very friendly and always available.

United StatesThis property offers nothing more than a bed. There is no on site anything- - vending machine, water bottles, nothing. Breakfast included means walking out the restaurant 3-4 blocks. Instructions were so bad we didn’t find it on time.
Our junior suite was spacious and the bed very comfortable.

NetherlandsThe breakfast was served about a kilometer away in another hotel. Paperthin walls, you hear all your neighbors. Absolutely no cafeteria, or any anemities.
The location is rather good, it is ligth walk from main attractions and institutions.

HungaryThe single room was wet from the bathroom, and as a result all mouldy on the wall. Walls are thin and could hear everything from neighbouring rooms and corridor. Bed was noisy on every move. No coffee in the hotel at all.

PolandPaid parking. There was not a clear notice, that the parking was paid nor the price was shown on the webpage. The room was very small and I think, the surface area given on the webpage was overestimated.

MaltaThere are no windows that get air from outside. Basically no good air circulation and it shows from the smell. The guy at the receptionist is very nice but he is shared with another hotel. We had to go to a two star hotel for breakfast (breakfast was awful) would have preferred to have to pay for less and have no breakfast offered. With some renovation the place has potential but is was not inviting for us as it is.

SlovakiaThis is not a hotel but a hostel!! no cafe, bar, nothing. The worst bed I've ever slept in .reclining, creaking mattress, no soap, no shower gel in the bathroom!! Not even after complaining at the reception!!!
Breakfast was good, but in a hotel about 200 meters from the accommodation.Large room, small bathroom, nice furniture, garage for a car.
