Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomWe attempted to access the Rooftop bar on the second evening as it was closed on our first evening. When we got into the lift to access the bar for some reason it took us to the ground floor. A member of staff asked us where we were going and we explained we were attempting to access the rooftop bar, she had another two guest with her at the time and told us to come out of the lift and asked us if we were hotel guests which we stated we where. She then explained to the other two guest to get in the lift and she explained they could go to the rooftop bar. She then said follow me me and walked away from the lift. She then stopped to tell us we have to speak with her to arrange access. We had not been advised of this at any point when booking in. At this point we both felt embarrased for the way she had spoken to us in front of other guest and decided to go and have a drink and dinner outside the hotel rather than at the hotel.
Lovely hotel and perfect location to explore the city.

SwedenUnfortunately, we were not satisfied with the breakfast, which did not live up to our expectations. Tried several dishes from the a la carte menu but thought nothing was particularly good. Also took forever to get seated. Ordered prosecco for the room and despite a reminder, this was forgotten and I had to call and ask where it was. We got it delivered 45 min late.. When we checked in, the receptionist forgot to inform us that the hotel reserves an extra €100 per day from your card. At first we thought something went wrong with the payment. This is fine, but you should definitely inform the guest about it!
Very beautiful, spacious and modern room. The bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the built-in speakers in the room. The hotel is very well located - in the middle of central Budapest. Visiting the rooftop bar is a must (especially during the summer months).

LatviaDuring my stay at the hotel, I discovered that the rooftop bar was temporarily closed for renovation or another reason. However, I acknowledge that I missed the opportunity to visit it on previous days, which was entirely my oversight.
The breakfast provided was truly exceptional, boasting a delightful array of delicious options. While those who arrived first were able to enjoy orange juice served in chilled glasses, the experience was nonetheless pleasant even when served in warmer glassware. The ambiance and scent of the hotel were both invaluable, offering a serene and historically rich environment for guests to enjoy during their stay.

IrelandThe Spago restaurant is not up to expectation. It trades on the reputation of Wolfgang Puck, a bit of a disappointment in an otherwise wonderful hotel. Our food was lovely, but the service was lacking and just not warm and welcoming. It is unlike any other Michelin star we've been to, which leaves you feeling the prices are too high for what's on offer.

A large room with a great view over the river and Elizabeth Bridge. Amazing double glazing meant the room was silent at night, and doors to a small balcony. The decor and lighting were excellent, lifts fast and spacious. Public areas quiet and calm. All members of the staff were good and friendly including the knowledgeablr concessionaires. The roof top bar was an added bonus, with amazing 360 degree views over the city.

Netherlands- Housekeeping could have been better: The used champagne glasses in our room weren’t picked up (or replaced with the clean ones) till our last day.
