The staff was very helpful, kind and forthcoming. The information that the hotel provided prior to arrival was very useful. Hotel spa was great. The same applies to the extraordinary breakfast.

The gym is pretty small, but the equipment is great.

This is my second stay in as many months, and it was even better second time around. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the rooms large and comfortable. The staff are pleasant and helpful. This will be my home every time I find myself in Budapest.

First of all, i'am in love with the interior! This neo-gothic style! OMG. I could stare at it for hours. The equipment is also very good, everything i needed was in the room. I slept very good. Plus a veeery pleasant window view. The staff was really helpful. Especially nice was a little fruity present for my Birthday! The metro station is 4 mins from the hotel. And the bus to the airoport is 10 mins away.

The hotel is beautiful beyond words! It is a feast for the eyes in every part of the building. You can just look and look and you'll never get enough! The comfort and service matches the beauty of the rooms and lounges. I will most definitely be coming back.

the gym is very small. If you are a big fan of the gym you will not find a variety of equipment there. I didn't like how the housekeepers were caring about the room.

the arcade is stunning and a pleasure to sit and have breakfast. Even though the hotel face a main road with heavy traffic all day and night the rooms was sound proofed so you never noticed.

The restaurant menu and lighting could be re-worked a bit. I'd suggest pushing it in the direction of a French bistro -- something that complements the decor and name of the hotel, and something that is not that well represented among nearby restaurants.

The hotel is beautiful and perfectly situated for access to the heart of the 5 ker., but by far the highlight is the excellent staff -- friendly, professional and able to assist in any situation.

When booking, I requested a quiet room and was given a room overlooking the loudest street ever. It was just impossible to open the window. Every time you enter the building, the staff looks at you with suspicion: what if you want just to stare at the beautiful lobby and leave. Each time we had to make excuses that we were staying with them and show the key. Please bear in mind, that they have restricted access system: one cannot use an elevator without room card. So the "suspicion" entry filter has nothing to do with protection of privacy At breakfast two times we waited for someone to come up for 15 minutes. Overall the service is very average.

The best thing about this hotel is its central location and great view both outside and inside (the lobby is brilliant). The rest will not meet your expectations. Breakfast is not very varied, some dishes are good, others - not that good. And you do not have much choice

The windows in our room were historical. We woke up several times at night when the emergency cars were passing by the hotel. The switch of the light above the bar is extremely hard to find. We managed to find only about 5 am - so had to sleep with light on for most of the night. The hotel also failed to provide pain relief (against headache) after such a bad night. No one seems to think and care of basic things, which directly affect the comfort of the guests. The management seems to be happy with their corporate wages and not interested in work. So if you have a choice - avoid this one.

The atrium is impressive. The breakfast was fair.

Upon arrival they took a total of £112 as a bond which I haven’t received back as yet . They said it will take few days it’s been over a week . Disappointed

Room was small and smelt like smoke Bedding and sheets are poor quality Bar has poor service and over priced drinks As a guest, you are offered chairs behind the bar out of the way and not the main area unless eating. Spa was nice but small. No pool. Spa staff and treatments good.

Apparent profiling--- Door man comment about ' unnecessarily big room' Reception staff refused to believe the Bidet was not working, apparently believing I had never seen anything like that and don't know how to use it, despite me telling otherwise . Only to be diagnosed later with a broken remote by a technical person. They need to learn to respect each customer and respectfully listen to any complaints.
