Language barrier was a bit of a bump - I had a late check in, didn't know how to get inside. After 6 hours long driving having or not having a room is nothing you want to be unsure about

Perfect location right next to the lake with walking path and a park. Nice restaurants in walking distance and very nice parking right in front of the Panzió. The room was spacy with very comfortable bed (nicely bouncey and firmer...don't like soft matrasses).

We stayed at Q-Panzió for three nights and had a truly wonderful stay. The location is perfect: right on the lakeside, yet quiet and peaceful. Waking up to the calm view of the lake every morning was a delight. The room was very clean and modern. But the best part of the stay was the manager/owner, who is incredibly humble, polite, and friendly. It's been a long time since we've met anyone so kind.

The guesthouse is located in an excellent location with a beautiful view on the lake. It is very nice, everything is clean and new. The staff is very pleasant and kind. The breakfast is excellent. We would love to come back for a longer stay. Thank you.

The view was lovely, there was a nice restaurant just down the boardwalk. The staff kindly called us immediately after we left to let us know that we had forgotten items and we were able to return to pick them up before leaving town!

The most kind and loving hosts! They picked us up at the train station, and we got off one stop too early, so they drove all the way to the next town to pick us up! The room was very nice, clean and with very comfortable beds! Good breakfast and the hosts were always happy to help if needed and made sure we felt welcome. :-) We got a book with great places to visit in Tata to inspire our trip. We wish we would have stayed longer!

There was an unfortunate timing with a neighbouring party that caused some noise. The owners apologized for the inconvenience and even offered us coffee on the house.

I can't think of anything.

I was hiking the Camino and found this right on the route. The location is amazing. The staff was wonderful. I would recommend Q-Panzio to family and friends.

- I wish there would have been more space above or around the bathroom sink to put toiletries, maybe an extra shelf or cabinet. - Also a bit strangely, the hand soap dispenser had disinfectant gel instead of soap. - Please keep in mind that the nearby beach bar is open and playing loud music until 3 AM on Fridays and Saturdays (at least during the season we were there, mid July), so if you are sensitive to noise you might have trouble falling asleep. Of course this is not the fault of the panzió and is not affecting our rating of the accommodation, just wanted to mention for people as a heads-up.

- Very clean and spacious room in the most perfect central location, close to the lake and near great restaurants and cafes. - Soundproofing was excellent - I’m a light sleeper and get easily bothered by sounds coming from other apartments but I didn’t hear anything from other rooms! - Mini fridge and sofa with a coffee table in the room were a big plus, it was nice to just hang out indoors without having to sit on the bed. - The air conditioner is located just above the bed which was a good idea so the cold air wasn’t blowing directly on us while we were sleeping, and it also provided very soothing white noise to fall asleep to. :) - The common terrace downstairs facing the lake was also lovely for enjoying an afternoon beer in the fresh air.

- During the 3 nights we stayed here the room was not cleaned; it would have been fine if at least the trash was taken out once during this time (unfortunately it wasn’t) - There is no hairdryer in the room

The owners attitude (both mother and daughter) are appalling. Beware, that there is a nearby beach bar that turns into a disco at night (on Fri & Sat apparently only during the season) that is blasting extremely loud music until the early hours of the morning, which woke us up through closed windows! When we tried to contact the 24hrs line to find out if they can do anything about it, (I was thinking they may know that place and can talk to them, etc..), the woman (the daughter) on the phone was very dismissive and rude, saying "what do you want me to do? If you don't like it, you can call the police" and "we are not in the middle of the woods, Tata is like Balaton, there are parties by the beach" and "it must come from a wedding or something". Than she called us back (!) about half hour later (at almost 3am) to say the exact same thing, than sent a text message another half hour later (well after 3am) to emphasize, that there is nothing she can do, but added "the best thing is to just accept it, because everyone deserves to party on their happiest day in their life". By that time I already called the closest restaurant who informed me that there was a wedding indeed which finished over an hour ago, and the music is currently coming from the beach bar and it is like this every Fri and Sat. Next morning when trying to speak to someone at reception about the events of the night, a very aggressive lady (turns out to be the mother) started arguing immediately, that "I am too sensitive", and that 'I just hate Tata" , that the "windows are good enough quality". She denied they called us and texted us in the middle of the night and called me a liar. When I asked to check out after our first night, she wanted me to pay for the full two night stay that I have booked.

The room had a nice view and was nice size and clean, maybe enjoyable on a weekday. My husband and I stayed 1 night only, please read below why

Noise from local club banging away from 11.30 until 3.30 on Friday and Saturday night. Kept us awake, and made us very tired when we had to attend a major competition in order to compete. Would not have booked if had seen previous reviews about noise problems. You pay to get a good nights sleep, not to be kept awake. No space for toiletries in bathroom . Only 2 towels in room on first day. No cups only a saucer and 2 spoons. No Wi-Fi at all during our stay. Host said she could not do anything about either issue. We were not happy when we left.

it says you get free Wi-Fi but as there are no staff you can not find the password plus there was no shampoo/body wash in the shower just an empty bottle, lucky I brought my own.
