How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The dinner was a bit pricy, but it was worth it, also delicious
Extremely new hotel, everything was modern, well thought-out, with electric solutions, panels. Indoor wellness area is not huge, but has a great pool, saunas, steam room. Maybe what was missing is an ice bath. Kind staff, breakfast is top tier, upon the buffet, you can choose from a brunch menu.

All ok. I understood that they are young birds on the market - 3 months All the best! /it is unusual to write this at this part of the review but wanted to underline that good people around/!
Very nice/ thoughtfully and creatively built. As people nice and comitted foresee a big succes of this entrepreneurship!

The personnel services and some technical stuff are still being fine tuned, So not every service and technical device is running smoothly. But I believe that this will get better with time.
The Hotel is brand new and very nice and clean.

We visited the hotel during off season and where one of the only ones there. We hope that the hotel will improve the following: 1. The spa - we stayed 1 night and went to the spa 2 times. Each time all the saunas were cold and they switched them on only when we were in the spa already. You have to wait at least 30 min for the saunas to heat up. I would recommend to ask the guests to book the spa time, so the staff can prepare the saunas in advance. In that case the guests don't have to wait and waste their time. 2. The shower and control panel were quite difficult to figure out. We are good with technology, but I imagine that our parents would not understand it. It would be great if the staff would lead you to the room and show how everything works. 3. The parking. You have to press a button which calls the reception to get out of the garage and then again to get out of the parking area. Unfortunately, during our stay the button didn't work and they did not get the call. Had to find the hotel'a phone number and call them when getting in or out of the parking. 4. The breakfast. Although it was tasty, there was not much of a choice for 5 star hotel. Also, eggs Benedict were over cooked as a hard boiled egg. Overall, it didn't feel like 5 star hotel except the fresh and beautiful premises.
The hotel is brand new and everything there is Modern. All the rooms are beautifully equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was okay, spa has multiple saunas and a hot tub. The staff was very welcoming and nice.

The bed was too soft for me. The location was not central you need a car to go anywhere beside the beach which is in walking distance 100 meters. The waters temperature in the spa pools could be higher in few degrees. 33-35 would be perfect. Now the temperature is 30 degrees.
The rooms were amazing! The breakfast was absolutely perfect! Lots of dishes to choose from.

Over engineering when it comes to technology (there is a remote control that activates everything. Location is not great, but the hotel makes up for it.
Nice adult only hotel. When I stayed there, I think I was the only one, but everyone and everything was amazing. Food is really good.

It is not so quiet. You can hear other rooms and corridor noise. Morning housekeeping is very early. Food is not good at the restaurant.
Nice hotel, the wellness & spa area is amazing. Super modern vibe and confort.

At check-in we were made aware of a gluten intolerance. For the first two days, this was taken into account for breakfast. For the following days, no gluten-free products were available, although the surrounding supermarkets would have been well stocked. The room was inadequately cleaned at check-in. Both shelves and the foot stall were enormously dusty. The breakfast only meets minimal requirements. The sunbeds by the pool are of the lowest quality and not comfortable.
