Door btw two suites (which was of course locked) gives very little noise cancellation, I could hear the neighbour even caughing, so not much privacy in that sense.

Spacious and comfortable, lovely bathroom with separate loo. An excellent breakfast was served in the bistro a short walk away, where we also had dinner the previous evening. The apartment was in the old centre of Esztergom and the Basilica and castle are only a short walk away.

There was no tea cooker.

Very clean and spacious. All appliances and equipment are new and modern and of higher standard. Breakfast around the corner was very good. Vegan options were also available so it was great. The water pressure was great, so taking a bath is very quick, which was a nice bonus. The nespresso machine in the room was also great.

I use Booking.com a lot, and I always review fairly.. this place is the best I have ever stayed. For the price..its exceptional . Beautiful large room, perfect bathroom, clean, quiet, easy to find... it can not be faulted. The breakfast is a 3 minute walk and very good. It was truly a perfect night stay

Only one small thing - we got stuck outside our room at 21:30 because the keycard stopped working. It took us a while to get a staff member as there is none present at the property. It was solved eventually, but there were a few moments of panic.

The room was beautiful, very cozy, clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. Location is great, and breakfast that was served was very very good.

It was fully unexpected, but the hotel hasn’t got a reception, so you have to completely follow the rules you receive via email to get in to your room. The entrance to the underground garage wasn’t straight away visible, but finally I found it (it’s the one next to the UniCredit bank) and it’s an older one. The Michelin’s breakfast isn’t right at the same building, but about 5 minutes away by walk. The Michelin restaurant is closed couple of days in the week, so you better to check it before you do a reservation.

The property was absolutely breathtaking, I had a feeling I went back to the past and at the same time it was modern. The furniture and the design were luxurious. The accommodations is very quiet.

From start to finish, we must say thank you to Matys. He went out of his way to accommodate our needs, particularly with translation from English to Hungarian. In terms of the apartment, first class in every way: style, cleanliness, location. Breakfast too was sophisticated, and worth the 3 min walk to the boulevard.

One of the best accommodations we haved stayed at. Very friendly staff, a superior room and excellent breakfast options. It is located closely to the city center and has a spa in the garden. After check-out we could wait in the lounge area until the rain has eased and were offered a coffee.

Wow. What a beautiful apartment. This is an amazing place to complement a visit to this great little city. The bed is confortable, living spaces are cozy, it is hard to find anything to complain about.

There are no tissues in the room. And as the breakfast in not on the premises it would be nice to have a coffee machine for self service or a kettle and cups in the room, so you could have your first coffee in the morning without having to go out to get it.

This was our second say in the boutique hotel and this time we got the king room. It is even more beautiful than the queen and that’s saying a lot. The property is renovated to the highest standard and we just didn’t want to leave. It is very centrally located, bus stop is 2 minutes, thermal baths 5 minutes, basilica 15 minutes walk. The breakfast place is a comfortable 3 minutes walk and they give you a very generous alacarte breakfast.

It lacks parking or even ability to stop by the property to offload luggage. Parking is available nearby but you have to drag luggage to the hotel

Absolutely everything! If I could give Room42 an 11 then I would. It is, without a doubt the loveliest place I've stayed and I'm 60 and have stayed in some nice places in my life. The welcome was great and the room amazing. Every detail was tastefully thought out. The bathroom was lovely as were the toiletries. The balcony was a lovely touch. We are cycling Eurovelo6 and it was great to be able to store the bikes securely. The location is perfect and Esztergom is a beautiful place. Breakfast is taken a short distance away in a bistro which had also been tastefully decorated. Again, the staff were welcoming and the breakfast was superb. I can't recommend Room42 enough!

No elevator in the building. We had 2 heavy bags, luckily I was travelling with my partner and he was there to help carry the bags up the stairs. Also despite being beautiful, the bathroom only had a combined shower/bathtub. There was no actual shower head, only a handheld shower hose which was difficult to use. The bath was also deep and I imagine it would be difficult to get in and out of if you had any mobility issues. A few minutes walk to breakfast which was at a nearby cafe. Ok in summer but wouldn’t be ideal in winter.

Large, beautifully styled room and bathroom. Large, comfortable bed. Good wifi and the TV has access to Netflix which was great. The hotel is in a central location. Breakfast at the cafe nearby was good. Contactless check in and check out.

If you come by car, you can park in the parking garage near the hotel, they have several reserved spaces on -1 floor, just say that you are a hotel guest, reservation in advance is necessary, you will pay later in hotel, It was simple and easy. Check-in is from 15:00-18:00. Check-out 08:00-11:00 (possible self-Check-out).
