Bigger towels would have been good.

Fantastic location. Lovely decor in the hotel. Small number rooms. High ceilings, quiet. Good access to all sights. Close to Basilica. Lovely bakery next door. Lovely chimney cake ice cream in the souvenir shop. Across road to a park area. Staff were lovely. Birthday gift and balloons.

No breakfast is possible due to the hotel layout but has a sort of cooperation with a bar downstairs who serves all kinds of breakfast food

Rumor Hotel is located in a repurposed old building (typical situation in Budapest, where old buildings have been renovated and put to use as hotels, beer gardens, fancy cafes etc). Rooms are spacious and cozy, the hotel is finely furnished and very clean. The staff is what makes the difference: super friendly, kind and welcoming, they make your stay truly remarkable. Always a lovely experience

The team was very helpful in every aspect, and the hotel just gives a great vibe. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Location is also great for exploring around Budapest !

It was very central and a good price. Reception staff are so helpful with advice and nothing is too much trouble. The welcome drink was a nice touch. Cakes are laid out everyday and reception is manned 24/7. The bus to the airport is across the road and only costs 2200 huf.

I loved my room. It was a well sized room with a desk and a fridge, that I actually needed and was greatful for. The location of the hotel is great! I found a very nice restaurant nearby and the bus to the airport is only a few minutes walk away. I could easily catch my flight at 6 am the next morning without spending on taxi. I loved how clean the bathroom was, as I have stayed in far more expensive hotels, that had dirtier bathrooms than this, so thank!

There was some noise coming from the corridor in the morning, luckily I had to get up early anyway.

I only spent one night in the room. It was perfect for me, as I didn't need a lot of space for clothes, etc. Even though I arrived at 2.30 am, I was greeted by a lovely receptionist who offered a nice cup of tea before showing me the room. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the bathroom. The hotel was conveniently located as I arrived straight from the airport by bus, and it was easy to find, with clear instructions on how to get in.

Just a little tricky to find as it’s on the 1st floor of an old building and the front entrance has only a small sign indicating Hotel Rumor. The Bolt taxi driver had no problem finding it but we walked past the entrance when on our own. Otherwise, we loved this place.

Spoke perfect English and were super friendly.Nice room with coffee making facilities.Stones throw from all the restaurants and shops in Pest. Great small cafe next door for a cooked breakfast and huge fresh croissants. Have Netflix so we watched some good movies.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The communication from the hotel was clear and concise. It is located in a very central location, near to many attractions, and within a few steps of the main metro station as well as bus lines and the bus stop that goes to the airport.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. The rooms are huge, and brilliantly decorated. Hotel is centrally located, and although city centre in the busy Pest side of the city, the windows were quad insulated - no noise whatsoever. Staff were excellent, and overly helpful. Genuinely fantastic hotel. I will return to this hotel when I return to Budapest in the future for work or holidays.

Could do with a little more storage in the room for those of us who don't travel light! But this is a very minor niggle. Lovely, large room though and functioned perfectly well.

Excellant location. Ideal for walking around the city and for use of the trams. Fantastic location for evenings as surrounded by bars and restaurants. Great interior design in the hotel and room too.

Great location, lovely staff really friendly welcome, complimentary drink on arrival started the holiday off very well. We had a suite with a large double and a sofa bed, the sofa was quite snug, we changed the cushions around to create a bit more room which worked fine. Bathroom and kitchen were great, had everything we needed and the hotel staff were very happy to help with plans for our weekend. Will definitely recommend. Thank you

We would have liked to have been able to cool the room with air con but this is the only issue.

Perfect location! The room was beautiful and they had kindly decorated it for our birthdays, and gave us a complimentary bottle of Prosecco which was very kind. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom and bed was very comfy.

Because of the room location- you could hear all the lobby noise or people on the inner courtyard.
