Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

HungaryThere was some humming in the room from either some electric equipment or the fridge; it was annoying but not terrible.
The location of the hotel is unexpectedly gorgeous. It's somewhat remote, incredibly calm, and relaxing. The garden and the playground are situated right next to the river, allowing you to dine outside, enjoy nature, watch the birds, and more. The restaurant is also pretty good, food is authentic, staff is friendly.

Czech RepublicWarning: In the restaurant beware of waiter, Mr. Martin SZALKA, who has a tendency to overcharge. We also had a problem with him. After complaining, the dinner bill was corrected.
A nice, spacious room, well furnished, clean and tidy. Quiet. Fine breakfast in the on-site restaurant, which serves Hungarian gastronomic specialities for lunch and dinner. The food there is very good.

AustriaThey don't accept cards in place. Be careful to grab some local currency from an ATM in one of the bank offices while driving through Mosonmagyarovar. Though, the hotel has its own ATM but exchange rate could be a surprise.
We had half board and the food was so good that we gained couple of kilos during our several days stay :-) Convenient parking, beautiful garden and picturesque small hotel+restaurant. Everything is built with love.

Exceptional location next to a Danube river channel. Spatios room with two extra beds for the kids (not very comfortable, but good enough for our stay duration). Nice breakfast included.

FinlandBedclothes hardly were changed after the previous guest, because I found black hairs on the pillow and some small scrap on the sheet. As a surprise an extra tax of 300 HUF per guest per night should have been paid - in cash. Unfortunately we hadn't cast, so we couldn't pay this fee...
The place is a traditional looking inn on beautiful countryside. Breakfast was served to the table, and it was really sufficient.
