This place is okay as long as your expectations aren't too high or medium lol. It does the job for a night, but I probably wouldn't want to stay here for an extended trip unfortunately. The room itself is very outdated, and basic. A bit rough around the edges so to speak. I feel like the room was clean but because everything's really old it makes it feel not clean. I had a girl's only room which made me feel better. Bathrooms were sub-par. The toilets were pretty gross, broken seat, water on the floor - not ideal. Showers were in a different room, it said girls only but I did see some male staff going in and out occasionally, maybe for cleaning? Showers are a press to start situation, so you get 4 seconds of hot water and then it stops, so you have to press it a few times for a decent wash. No where private to change either which was a bit annoying.

If you're after a place to practice singing, come here. The bathroom has amazing acoustics!! Hahah Great location. Cheap price for budapest. Quiet place. Safe. Large lockers.

Room was ok, but floor in bathroom was dirty. Floor near the fridge for guests was very sticky for quite some time. Since it's a student's dormitory, everyone should clean for themselfes but some seemed to not care.Ocassionally, loud music from neighbours from other room.

Very close to M2 metro line, Shopping Mall and Lidl very close - 10 minute walk to Parliment , nice and helpfull stuff.

Wasn’t very clean, it’s student accommodation. Only curtains on showers and you have to push the button every 10 seconds.

it seems to be a student dorm that was adapted to be a season hostel. its was not so big. Showers are not accessible.

It was dirty, even the tap water smelled bad. Furthermore during my stay (August 2022) the road was renovated (next to the window) so it was impossible to sleep after 7 a.m.

I loved that they have single beds and there's plants in the corridors. The guy at the reception was very polite, helpful right away, friendly and professional. The lockers are actually big closets that you can lock with the big pro lock they give you. The location has good connection and all kinds of shops around the square and the people in the area were good vibe. I forgot a shirt after checkin out. I came back some days later and they had saved it. I got back! :D Great staff!

No A/C and the room was hot as hell. The bathroom toilet seats were not attached to the toilets. The washing machine was in the woman's shower room and a man would always be getting laundry. The shower only gives a small amount of water at a time. Not even enough time to wash all the soap out of your hair. Mattresses old, dirty, dingy and uncomfortable.

Location was cool and the guy at front desk was cool.

The staff was very helpful, responsible and friendly. The beds were single beds very comfortable and it was quiet. The lockers were actually big closets with several shelfs. The location is very well connected and full of all kinds of shops to get nearly anything you might need.

Toilets were dirty and leaking, my duvet was missing, light in the bedroom was flashing, kitchen dirty with very little equipment. Price per night was doubled due to music festival although the quality of the place didn't reflect the increase.

Staff was very lovely and always willing to help. Location was great, very close to Buda side. Lockers worked well - good to keep your stuff secured.

The room was in a bad condition. When you pay you expect the place to be at least clean... this one wasn't. In the bathroom there was a box with soap, but inside there was just water. On the beds there were stains, and on the pillows and the duvets. The "clean" sheets we received at the reception were also suspiciously dirty... none of us dared to sit on the dirty sofa chairs, or take a shower. The price was very low, but the standard was even lower.

The cooker was confusing. The instructions on the wall for the electric hob were inverted (numbers on the dials were rubbed off and there was paper on the wall showing instructions)

I was told by the receptionist that the building is actually used for student accommodation and in the summer when the students go home it's rented as a hostel. The rooms were fantastic. Very spacious between the beds, there was an upstairs and downstairs floor to the room I stayed in. Big tables in the room that made packing my backpack much easier! Big wash room was also nice.

When the guy at the reception gave me the bedsheet was full of holes and the pillow was uncomfortable. The other thing was the locker was a trouser inside from the other guest!

I had low expectations since this hostel was reviewed lower but it was by far the best of the three i stayed in in Budapest. Great location and quiet. 20 min from center by tram and close walk to castle and great bakery. Facilities were fine.

Nice place and kind people, very hospitable host. lovely art in the hallways and a grande piano that, though it might need some tuning, is enjoyable to play on.

The only negative thing was the size and equipment of the kitchen & fridge, so if you plan on making food, be prepared that it might be a little hard. We ended up eating instant ramen and restaurant food, which worked out just fine. One of out beds was also pretty noisy.

We stayed at Season Hostel 1 instead, as there were some complications with the booking, but everything was handled very smoothly and nicely. Just note that this review is for another building. The place is a boarding school that turns into a hostel during summer when the students are away, so the vibe is very fun and interesting. The rooms are big and have good storage space, and there's a beautiful little courtyard inside the hostel area. The staff deserves their own special mention. The receptionist was very friendly and lovely, and he made us feel like we were at home. The check-in was easy and we always got help if we needed.
