The rashes, although I can't say for sure if this was the fault of the accommodation. Might be worth checking on the bedbugs situation. There is no proper AC in the room, only a device that works like a fan and circulates the air, blowing a somewhat cooler air. Still, with 30+ degrees outside the room was hot as hell!

Everything was great, owner is super nice, room was also good, but one morning I woke up with strange rashes only on my right arm. These rashes took 1 week to disappear. As I didn't see any mosquitoes in the room I'm guessing that they might have been bedbugs.

the shower had some problems with keeping the water inside so the bathroom was often flooded. Also there was a toilet paper thief, every time i put the toilet paper in the bathroom somebody took it away

super great location! room had a fridge, microwave and boiler. there was a little kitchen and washing machine. Overall super worth the price, had a really great stay for a week.

The location is excellent to get to the city centre and very convenient to get from the bus stop where the airport bus stops. The building is very nice and my room was spacious. Quite neighbourhood. Peter sent me the directions and the instructions and met me on the day of my arrival. I am very happy with my stay. Thank you.

In the shared bathroom, the water pressure was low and the sink tap was small so it was sometimes a bit difficult to wash our hands. Otherwise no complaints!

The house, where the flat was located was very interesting and beautiful. The room was tidy and cozy, the beds were comfortable. The location was great with lots of shops and cafes/restaurants nearby, lovely city quarter, a tram and trolleybus station were very close by.

Before I stayed here I was bit weary because some of the reviews were not great but my time at Sleepover City was perfect! I couldn’t have asked for better accommodation, the room was clean and spacious with everything I needed, fridge and microwave, and the host, Peter, was lovely. The location was great!! I stayed for 11 nights and would definitely stay again. You won’t find a private room in Budapest that is as nice as Sleepover for a better price. I couldn’t recommend it to you more!

It was absolutely unbearable to sleep. The biggest part was definitely the heat and no AC in the room, only a fan. Secondly the pillows and the mattress were quite uncomfortable. Also the showerroom didn’t really meet one’s needs.

Best location in town, good for the price we paid, beautiful old building, small bedroom but acceptable since it's in the middle of everything, shared bathroom is ok, could be slow when everyone wakes up at the same time but not too bad. They have small kitchen, cleaning station, washing machine, wifi, tv, everything worked just fine!

Cleanliness. The room was extremely hot with the sun coming straight through the window at 6am and the fan did nothing but blow hot air around. We left the windows open all day to get some sort of circulation. The place is overpriced, definitely not worth what we paid for it!!

Room is not clean.. Sofa is broken.. U cant even use it to sit down. Windows can't open while room is so hot. Dirty cloths and towels are on the floor on the entrance. Peter is really harsh person, can't smile or talk nicely.. He didn't show any nice way of welcoming us. I asked to checking in early, he refused and insisted to come at 2 pm. While the apartment was empty and rooms were open and empty.

It was a bit too hot, it needs an AC to be installed, because the standard one doesn't condition too well, but since we opened all windows and kept doors opened on the door hook, it was fine. The other guests would leave stuff in the shower or don't clean the sink, but as the host were there, he would clean in regularly, so, it's all about guests not keeping it clean for everyone, host does everything as best to keep it clean and nice.

In overall it's a good 8 stay, will leave in advance 9, because the host taking a good care of everything. We booked it very last minute, the price were superb. Location is also great. The host met us (came down from the property). He showed every possible light buttons in hallway in case it's dark, all the doors where is everything, how to check out (the host makes his best for the guests to have the best experience). Room itself spacious, has a smart tv (YouTube and so on). Shared showers and wc were also fine. In my opinion the host is the main key i would return to this place, made everything simple and easy to understand, would come regularly and clean the spaces, also prior made us to understand where is everything located.

The apartment was under renovation or so it seems. The light in our room was improvised, actually the whole apartment was a bit weird, the kitchen is in the hallway. Also you can hear everything from inside the room, the doors were squeaky. I know it was a cheap accommodation, but we used to stay in cheap accommodations and we compared with them.

The host, Peter was a nice guy, communication was ok. The location is near the tram and metro station. We had in our room fridge and microwave.

Extremely cold inside. The heating in the room bearly ever worked. Outside in the kitchen amd corridors there was heating at all. The covers were as thin as a piece of paper, not givibg any warmth during the night, and morover they looked like they have been used for the past 15 years, every night by a different person. The same about the pillows. I don't understand why each room.is equipped with a flat screen TV, a microvawe and a fridge, but they dont spend 15 or 20€ to buy proper covers or at least a blanket, which would make the guests not to freeze in this cold plaxe, almost without heating March, when the temp.outside was dropping till -2 at night. Summarising: Very bad experience.
