We were a group of 9 and we arrived quite late in the evening. Even if there were only 2 other people to Check-in at the front desk, the receptionist took about 45 minutes to check us in.... And we had reservasions! The conditions are poor, but the rating is only 3 stars so.... I can understand that. The hotel is very beautiful in itself, it needs restauration! I hope they do it, it would be a pitty not to restaure such a beautiful building!

Unfortunately the charm doesn’t really extend past the facade and common areas. My room was well beyond its date of expiration and the bathroom was in a deplorable state. The hotel has a lot of potential, but needs a long overdue renovation to restore it to its former glory.

The girl at reception didn’t speak English very well, but was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a nice area of Szolnok and the building itself has a faded charm.

Although there were means of making hot drinks only chocolate was provided and not tea or coffee.

Friendly and helpful staff in this formerly grand but now rather run down spa hotel. Good breakfast. When the receptionist saw my mobility difficulties she successfully sought a ground floor room for me. Unusually in my experience there was a kettle in the room and I was able to enjoy a hot chocolate before bed. I enjoyed walking to the nearby River Tisza in the dark evening. The hotel served me well as a stopover between trains.

No warm/hot water and no curtains (at all). We stayed in a rooftop room so the latter was particularly disturbing.

We liked the location, air-conditioning, kind personnel, price for a family of 4. It is a shame that the building is in such a bad condition.

The bathroom in our room was closer in quality to an old, out of used youth hostel in the countryside than a historical hotel in the city center!

Good location. Historical classic building with a great potential, but needs renovation very much! Classical feeling in the room, comfortable and clean bed and bed linen, towels and bathrobe!

Unfortunately the owners haven't renovated the place for a long time. Everything is really worn. Only one of the bath was operating. If you deviate from the booking, even a little, be prepared to pay. Quite expensive for what you get.

Well for the starters, the hot water in hotel is thermal so its not nice color, and you not always have it. Morning without hot water... Also its old and trying to be retro , but its not retro its old and need renovation . It has some charm but basically is not worth to stay

The best time of the hotel is gone and some renovation is necessary. Hotel restaurant was out of order, but there are plenty of other possibilities nearby.

The old house has genius loci. Guests has possibility to visit thermal baths free of charge in the evening. Good accomodation for very decent price in the great location.

Although hotel claims wifi in all areas, it worked just in the main lobby and common lounge, not in the rooms. Staff said it should be fixed, but it wasn't until we checked out.

Staff is very friendly and recommendable, room clean and thermal water in the bathtub excellent. Do not pay attention to its yellowish color, it's perfectly natural ;) Hotel's position on the bank of the Tisza river, next to the promenade, allows for nice evening stroll after great dinner in a nearby restaurant.

The hotel is old and derelect in the ad online it looks much better , the thermal water baths are under renovations but the ads do jot mention it. It is false advertisement . We deovw 2 hrs more to go to a hotel with thermal bath and arrived not to have one. There is no elevator either and the hotel is in bad shape needs renovation, cleaning and repIrs

Need renovated and re painted a hotel, + change the old over used items,like: carper,bath tubes. On the corridor the light bulbs off,it's not healt and safety. It's looks like homeless hotel, not like it..

Breakfast not included the ,kitchen closed. The hotel room price so expensive,no discount because: Thermal bath: closed ( it's like 4years). The restaurant closed. The bar closed ( using for storage room) To much dust,un professional,poor and expensive service. Not worth it for the price. Plaster is falling off the walls. The bed is uncomfortable. The curtains are torn. The garden cannot be used. Time stood still in the hotel decades ago.
