Maedhbh was a fabulous host and made our stay a great one. Great location for exploring Mayo, very close to Castlebar and all amenities. The bed was so comfortable and the studio was a great size. Would definitely stay again.

Very quiet location and lovely landscaped gardens. Exceptionally friendly and helpful host. Meadbh insisted on running my wife and into nearby Castlebar (twice) so that could both enjoy a drink. The studio apartment wants for nothing and a full Irish breakfast was provided too.

Nothing really. Remember this is just one room..... bed room with bathroom with coffee maker on side. No cooking facilities. But you are near West port so you will be OK. Signposting to property non existent. Google maps kept saying "road unknown".

Host lives nearby and is very helpful and personable. High spec TV which one rarely finds in these accommodations.

Nothing, loved everything about this beautiful peaceful retreat

'Home from Home'. Meadbh is a fabulous host, so warm and welcoming, so knowledgeable and so accommodating. The Studio was absolutely beautiful, spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. Very quiet rural setting with short drive to Castlebar and the many tourist attractions of Co. Mayo. We highly recommend having breakfast, a highlight of our stay, in their stunning Family Home a short stroll through wonderful grounds. Varied menu choice, delicious fresh food cooked to perfection. Thank you very much Meadbh, we look forward to returning.

An attractive quiet out of the way residence with an owner nearby who was helpful and charming. She could supply breakfast on request, which we did not in fact need - electric kettle, microwave and fridge were ptovided. New N5 motorway 3 minute drive away.

The host and her faimily were welcoming and treated us so well. Host left us in the care of her husband Pat (and their lovely daughter) who cooked us fabulous breakfast on both mornings..couldn't get better. The apartment was lovely and bed so comfy. Short drive to Castlebar. Would stay again.

Location is quite remote so you definately need own transport. No cooking facilities however there is a fridge & microwave & electric kettle supplied.

We didn’t opt for breakfast altho a full Irish cooked breakfast was available at €12.50 pp. The host was welcoming & very accommodating. Supplied extra bed clothes as it was a little cold on arrival. Heating was turned up without any hesitation. Towels were replaced each day, and room was serviced.

There’s NOTHING I didn’t like about this accommodation!

Very quiet rural location, less than 10mins from town, close to Breaffy Resort, safe ample parking, sensor lighting, trampoline for the kids :) The host is there if you need anything, without being obtrusive. Tastefully decorated large room, nice clean bathroom with shower, TV, WiFi, kettle, microwave, fridge, bare essentials. And the best thing - the huge comfy bed! I was in 2 minds wether to leave a review as I don’t want everyone knowing about this little gem! I would definitely recommend and definitely stay here again, without hesitation!
