The breakfast was buffet and not very imaginitive but adequate. Dinner in the evening had sufficient choice. The room was adequate but not what we would have chosen.[Hotel fully occupied]. Room looked out on a 5' wall with an overgrown hill above. Ask for a room that has a decent view.

Stayed here before so it was convenient for us to visit home town, graves and old friends. The property is in a lovely location. Stayed 2 nights. Patio for a drink or snack had a lovely view of valley.

I booked the last room which was at the back of the property and was shaded by trees, making it dark and it felt a bit damp and cold

Brilliant location for walks. Walks were well signposted. Dinner was absolutely delicious. Also well stocked buffet breakfast. Enjoyed our stay .

We were going to have lunch there and enjoy the view after I was finished work, and were told that whole bar restaurant was closed till the evening because of a wedding , we were really disappointed

There seemed to be a musty smell and no place to sit and relax apart from the room or bar area.

Some of the furnishings could do with an update. The lack of a lift made bringing bags to the upstairs rooms a bit awkward, but I understand an old building brings its challenges.

We attended the wedding of our friends at the hotel and stayed overnight in Room 106. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Our room was comfortable and the shower pressure was fantastic. The bar and function staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us, especially Luke and Eoin in the bar. Breakfast was delicious in the morning.

The location of the hotel is amazing, beautiful views. Our bedroom was very big and had great views over the Galtee Mountains. Sitting on the terrace when the weather is fine is just fabulous. Dinner was lovely, standard pub grub. The Bed & Breakfast rate was good value, when compared to many other places in the area.

Not much we didn't like. The view from our was non-existent, but, we only booked our room that morning. This isn't a complaint. It's just a shame because I bet the view from some of the other rooms would be amazing! As mentioned, breakfast and dinner were really good. The hotel lacks veggie dinner options, but, the sole option was really good! No doubt if more options were put on, they would be to the same high standard.

Overall, this is a lovely place to stay and our experience was quite delightful. The hotel room, with its comfortable ambience and thoughtful amenities, left a positive impression on us. The room was tastefully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The bed was comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep to the well-appointed bathroom that was clean and well-maintained. The room's cleanliness and tidiness added to the overall positive experience. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, with a good level of professionalism and genuine hospitality. Breakfast and dinner were really good. The hotel lacks veggie dinner options, but, the sole option was really good! The location is in the countryside, meaning lots of opportunities for walks and a quiet existence. While there's always room for improvement, the minor shortcomings were overshadowed by the overall quality of the room and service. With a score of 9 out of 10, I can confidently say that this hotel provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would certainly consider returning in the future and recommend it to others looking for a pleasant and cozy place to stay.

Stunning mountain views in a peaceful location. We had a delicious meal the evening we arrived, I'd highly recommend the beef! The waiting staff were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choices!
