Quiet location at the river, good common kitchen and eating areas, small patio for use, parking, quiet. Easy to walk to pubs and restaurants nearby some of which had good live music.

The hostel is situated in a cute old house by the small river in a perfect setting. We really liked the atmosphere of the dining/living room - there is a fireplace with fire in the evenings with irish music playing in the background. The kitchen is big and well equipped. We would definitely recommend this lodging and we hope to stay there again someday.

Great location. I could hike to the Cliffs of Mohrer, walk to several great pubs for food and music, and could easily get to the dock for the ferry to Inishmore. Also, I found the staff to be very helpful and the kitchen good to use

Kitchen was closed until 8. I left at 7. Location is a 1 km walk from the pub. Room was fine. All the bunks were full. Lots of washrooms and showers

Beautiful location by the river and walking distance to the cliff as well as to the pubs. Plenty of parking at the backyard of the property. The lady manning the reception was really helpful and suggested some routes for me on my way to Killarney.

The weather! Not anyone's fault, there is a curfew for 1am, but this is understandable, and not too big a problem as Doolin is small enough place, so plenty of time to walk back to hostel after everything closes.

Convenient location, thoughtful staff and very nice building, obviously everything well prepared by owners and staff for visitors, their experience shows, nice kitchen and adjacent dining room.

Some hooks for towels and shelving for toiletries in the bathroom would make the stay here even better!

Knock-out location - you're right in the thick of the village and mere steps from the local pubs. Storage space and cubbies in the room were very nice. My friends and I were very happy to find a room here at the last minute, so we had no major complaints! The staff was absolutely amazing too, we enjoyed chatting with them.

Our room was detached from the rest of the facility so had to go out in the rain to get to bathroom and communal areas.

The communal areas were very warm and comfy. Use if a good sized very clean kitchen. A big pot of homemade soup and assorted fruit and lollies were made available to guest to celebrate Halloween. Good location.

Location was great. Loved Doolin. Host was very welcoming and gave us helpful advice and maps. Also the laundry facilities were a great unexpected bonus. Overall very pleased.

Main receptionist who greeted us had a very poor personality. Even though our room had an external entrance we were placed under curfew to return.

I think the price per night for a double bedroom is too high for the value, as it is a hostel. The room is super basic and very small. We had to put the covers on our pillows as they were not ready.

The communal spaces and the building itself are nice. The staff was friendly and gave us the information we needed. Good position. Comfy bed!
