The orange juice at breakfast was diabolical. I don’t think it had ever seen an orange. Petty but when everything else was OK why such horrid OJ?

Well maintained hotel. Just felt right on arrival. Good parking

I wish the bathroom shower screen was larger. The bathroom got wet every time we took bath.

Location. It was very near my daughter’s college that’s why we picked it. A very nice neighbour pub, a restaurant and a 2 Chinese takeaway were down the road. Very near to St Luke’s Cross, therefore bus service was quite good.

Television signal was poor. Shortage of utensils on tables for breakfast eg no knives for butter and jam, no spoons for yoghurt etc. Very minor issue and easily rectified.

Very friendly, helpful staff especially on reception. Really large room. Lovely hotel. Breakfast was lovely.

    - Nothing related to the hotel, everything was perfect - The location wasn't so good: Although it's near the city center the hotel is located on a steap hill.

The hotel itself was a beautiful place. We felt like staying in an old mansion from the 1920s or 1930s. The place was very thoughtfully decorated. The best part was: The room was very spacious, very beautifully decorated as well and offered everything you need (comfortable beds, great bathroom and more than enough space fortwo people. The breakfast was a good range of warm and cold food (e.g. full Irish breakfast). The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

A bit quiet maybe because of an old hotel but it was properly maintained and a bit hilly.

Such a very spacious room . Enough for 4 people since the hotel provides us with 2 queen beds. Breakfast need to order from the waiter. Very nice view to see Cork town as a whole. Only 3 minutes walking to Griffith College Cork. Even though a bit far from city centre , but the taxi is quite easy to get.

We had to wait a long time for our full breakfast to be served. I noticed two couples who came in after us were served before us.

I thought the room was clean and comfortable to stay in for one night.

On the corridor and the restaurant there was a strong smell of perfume (air freshener). Doors were lound.

Location was perfect, once we found shortcuts it was very easy to get to the city and the railway station. Room was tidy but drafty (balcony doors). .

Four star facility does not have a painter in a d out of the kitchen and continuously hanging about dining room. It really in my opinion disregards any hint of elite, four star status that I'm sure the hotel could have. No mini bar in room disappointing.

    Friendly staff , lovely room.

    Poor ventilation in the bathroom.

Great views from the balcony. Easy walk down to the city. Plenty taxies to save the walk back up the hill. Very good restaurant on the premises.
