My only ,minor , gripe was with the bar. My wife likes rose wine...there was none. The alternative , white sauvignon was poor. I asked for a malbec, none available so I had to settle for a pretty poor merlot. Also, we dined in the hotel one night and had a bottle of pinot grigot with our meal. It was not good at all. It wouldn't take a lot of effort to up their game in this area as they seem to do everything else really well

This really is an exceptional boutique hotel. We have stayed here on four occasions and it cannot be beaten in terms of value for money, location and getting the basics right. The staff are friendly and efficient. the breakfast location, service and quality is first class. The menu if dining in the hotel is quite good and value for money.

Nothing to dislike, it's a fabulous hotel and I have been a regular since 2015.

Staff are very friendly, attentive, caring and kind. You are not just a guest in their eyes, you are family and that is why I continue to return to Riverside anytime I visit Sligo, Riverside is my number one choice. Hotel was very nice. Loved the relaxed atmosphere in the bar. Clean room. Staff all very nice and friendly. Hotel is close to everything, shops and pubs. The pubs are lovely and very welcoming. We would definitely stay here again. Oh and great breakfasts!

Room carpets are in good condition, but hallways and stairs have worn carpet. We didn’t have a car, so the limited parking was not an issue for us.

Great value hotel. Spacious room overlooking the river. The Mill pub is fun for watching a game. Helpful front desk staff. Kettle in the room.

Worked out 10-15% more expensive than usual, but I was a little late booking, although I saw a lower price a day or two after I made my booking, but that's probably down to chance. Would like a coffee machine in the breakfast dining area - that would be a big improvement. The 8:45pm close of restaurant/bar is rather early.

Very comfortable bed, smart TV in room, very clean. Breakfast good. The check-in/out experience is always smooth - much appreciated since this can be a chore in many hotels.

There is only parking for about 8-10 cars at the hotel. We paid for parking nearby for a few hours and were then very lucky to find a space at the hotel. The staff recommended parking in the local church grounds if the barrier was open, otherwise, we would have to pay for on-street parking.

No fridge in the room, no dedicated parking beyond about 10 spots out front that were always full.

Great location for exploring Sligo, and we felt fortunate to have a river view and a lovely river walk straight out of the hotel's front door. We enjoyed the downstairs restaurant for dinner on one night of our stay, and appreciated the kettle and coffee supplies to start our morning.
