There were no hot water for the sink at the bathroom because they says they couldn’t be able to getting electrician at the time. So I had to washed dishes in the shower which were water everywhere. Hot water in the shower were plms but I had to using warm water.

Everything were comfortable for me even I had a good night sleep. My partner were difficult cos of the heating flashing lights that bothers him. But we might be going back again.

Bed wasn't so comfortable, sheets were synthetic and the decor could have been nicer.

I loved its location, off the beaten track.

We were greeted by Michelle and Tippy (the dog) who was very friendly and left us to settle in. We had 2 dogs with us who loved the field beside us for a run around. Everything was comfortable and clean. The local guide was very handy and visited as much as we could in our time there.

If you want peace and quiet in the middle of nowhere, this is the perfect spot. However, there's no shops near by and the restaurant/pub 1 mile away wasn't open. That's not the owners fault obviously and we found a small village a short drive away.

There’s not much to not like. The map reference I was given took me to the wrong place so probably best to use the main house’s Eircode on your SatNav. It was a bit tricky to find to begin with. The shower had plenty of hot water but wasn’t as powerful as I like, that’s just personal preference. And because it’s a tiny place I wouldn’t want to stay there for too many days at a time, there’s nowhere to sit and relax except for the beds, and only a tiny fridge and no cooking facilities. However for what we wanted it was perfect.

This is a delightful little cabin in a very peaceful location with gorgeous countryside views. The beds were very comfortable and the heater warmed up the place quickly. Michelle was speedy with her replies to my questions and although there was a problem with the septic tank on the day she got it sorted out in time. It made for a great bolt hole for our one night in Sligo.

booking.com site and communication is a lot harder to use than air bnb - I struggled to find the hosts number through booking.com

The cabin is a great place to relax after a busy day, nice when it is raining outisde - it is comfortable with nice touches from the host. Very dog friendly place too which is a bonus. Will be back at some stage as great value for money and perfect for short stays

Nothing to dislike. Traveller - read the description properly before booking.

Cosy cabin for 2 set in stunning countryside with lovely views. Carrowkeel Monolithic site just up the road. The cabin has comfy beds and a good shower. No cooking facilities (just kettle and toaster) but a nice veranda to sit on and drink wine and eat hummus 😁. No TV no WiFi- bliss. Wonderful stay.

    Couldn't fault it at all.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful, the decor and presentation of everything was flawless, the host was just so lovely to talk to, and the private garden out the front is a lovely touch. Really enjoyed having a cup of tea and bun on the balcony the next morning. Absolutely loved our stay here.

The cabin was fully kitted out with everything you could need. Lovely, charming little place and very quiet and relaxing. Very good hosts. We accidentally left a mobile behind and were notified promptly. Would definitely stay again. My tip for anyone staying was if you wanted to have dinner and drinks in McDermotts up the road, would be to organise transport home early as we were left waiting for a while-not that that took away from our great experience staying at the cabin. Would definitely return!

Set in the Sligo hills, the cabin provided two beautifully relaxed days. It rained almost constantly but that didn’t deter the experience at all. In fact it enhanced it. Two days spent reading and relaxing in this beautiful location. Owners are not far away and ready to assist with any requirement. A perfect place to unwind and spend quality time.

Top class place to stay. Walking distance to Carrow Keel Megalithic Tombs, 15 min drive to Keash Caves, 25 mins to Strand Hill for the Queen Maeve burial tomb historical path. Perfect location for all these breath taking historical sites. There's a pub/restaurant 5 mins down the road or some takeaways in a local village Ballymote 15 mins drive away. Highly recommend "Cactus" mexican restaurant there. Food was fab 🙌👍 or if your feeling adventurous there is a cute little BBQ area just off the side of the cabin. Michelle the owner was so nice and very helpful we even had daily visits from her little dog and cat 😁. Very cosy and comfortable little cabin with everything you need for a short break. First impression was we were in the middle of no where when we first got there but we were actually in the centre of everything that we had planned to do. Michelle also has a very helpful booklet printed up with all the local ammenties. 👍 Really really enjoyed our stay and will definately be booking this little treasure again.
