Plenty of space in a lovely warm, clean room. The knock on the door with a continental style breakfast, warm croissants, wheaten bread, overnight oats and fruit - was an added bonus! A short walk to the castle and town, also found the canal walk! Hosts were lovely, but also gave us space!

Everything was great .

The accommodations were very nice with a spacious room and very comfortable furnishings. The location was within a short walk to Kilkenny Castle and local shops and restaurants. The host recommended an excellent pub. For breakfast,a picnic basket full of pastries, cereal, yogurts, and juice were dropped off which was a nice touch. Easy check in and very friendly host. Was also allowed to keep car parked there after checkout in order to explore Kilkenny which was very helpful.

Continental breakfast with a good selection to chose from. The room was spacious comfortable bed plus ensuite bathroom. The location is excellent with close proximity to the city center.

The knock on the door signaling the arrival of our daily "breakfast basket" was a welcome start to the day! Orange juice, warm croissants and bread, cereal, fruit and the most delicious yoghurt jars! The lodge was in a great location - walking distance to the castle and pubs! The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. A perfect "home away from home".

Beautiful spacious room, tea and coffee machine available in the room, exceptional shower facilities, very clean, owner Liam was extremely helpful and lovely to deal with, property perfectly located (quiet location but close to city centre), excellent continental breakfast presented beautifully in a picnic basket - a very nice touch! Would certainly return for another stay. Highly recommended 👌 👍

We were disappointed to hear that the breakfast was a picnic basket. We were looking forward to a good Irish breakfast. However, the picnic was really good quality and there was an excellent selection provided.

The rooms were adequate. Nothing special. The bed was not the most comfortable, but the positives of this stay made it worth it!

The location was amazing. So convenient for walking and exploring the town. The warm croissants served with breakfast delivered to your room was a delightful treat. The host was very friendly.

Very warm welcome and a very easy walk into town. The room was spacious and comfortable and the shower was fabulous. Beds were very comfy. Excellent breakfast with a lovely choice of very fresh croissants and bread. Our only comments are the TV was very small and high up on the wall it was difficult to hear and the hairdryer lead was so short it was difficult to stand and dry hair.

Castle Lodge Kilkenny is located very close to Kilkenny Castle and other sights in the city center. The room was nicely decorated, and we enjoyed the picnic basket breakfast that was delivered to our room.
