The mattresses on the beds were a bit sunken. And there weren't any cleaning supplies for the toilet.

Basic but very affordable for family of 7. Made the holiday more enjoyable that there were other families on site too and the kids were able to enjoy an evening football kick around. We couldn't have had a holiday if we had to go to hotel or b&b prices. The rooms are basic but with a full kitchen (for 4) it was ideal for breakfast and picnic making. We didn't intend to spend long in our accommodation and saved so much money on eating out during the day by being able to cook and take food with us. We have food allergies and a disabled child so it was perfect for our needs The staff at reception were very friendly and replaced our broken toaster within hours. Absolutely fabulous Chinese down the road. Would Absolutely return

Great location with the Mardyke Arena just a few minutes walk away. The swimming pool there had reasonable pay as you go fees for unlimited time until 8pm with a lovely kids pool with lots of toys to play with. They had multi activity camps on for the kids there and the climbing wall there was great. The playground beside it was also great, with the free museum in the park, loys of trees to climb and a nice cafe. The apartment was very clean with wifi but there was no tv and the sofa could do with being replaced. But the kids loved having their own bedroom with a double bed. The apartment had a separate toilet and shower room. There was a little cafe on campus and a few takeaways nearby and a shop for the essentials. Free parking with manned barriers. No noise at night. A great base for exploring cork

The living space was a bit cramped and there was only 3 of us, the sofas and blinds were damaged and a bit of an eye sore. I'd recommend slippers or socks as I found the floor a bit grim. The shower was small but clean enough. Despite this I would recommend as the value for money is great, and you're not often in your accommodation during a city break anyway.

About 20 minutes walk from the main city, and you can choose a nice walk through either the university grounds or Fitzgerald park. The accommodation is obviously university housing and was as expected. The beds were surprisingly comfy and everything was clean enough. The rooms were spacious and there was plenty of storage. The kitchens were well equipped and we had everything we needed for a short break. Staff were lovely and helpful, we kept our luggage in the storage room until check in opened, and they kept it for us after checkout also.

It was a less expensive option than others, in student accommodation , so our expectations weren't so high. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean, although it was a bit like bathrooms on a train: cubicle for toilet, cubicle for shower. The living space was disappointing. Torn upholstery, which is not such a big deal... But the kitchen/living had a really strong odour (of onions?). This did not permeate to the bedrooms because of the very heavy fire doors.

It is about a 15 minute walk to downtown. It would be better if you have a rental car. Towels are not changed every day like hotels. (on a weekly basis) Coins must be purchased at the reception for laundry. (3 euros each for washing and drying) Reception office staff working hours vary by day of the week. If you arrive late you should call the security staff (+353 86 042 6658).

I'm from South Korea. If you are here with your family and want to cook at home, there is no better alternative than here. It is a dormitory building that can accommodate up to 8 people and is fully equipped with cooking utensils.
