Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomWe did change rooms but only because the one we were allocated had an exceptionally soft mattress, which for us could of been problematic as we suffer with bad backs. But of course that's personal preference so really not worth the mention!!
Decent sized room which was clean with plenty of space for our belongings. The staff were very obliging and friendly. The breakfast was exceptional!

Clooneen House is spotlessly clean. My room was large with a very comfortable bed and nice modern bathroom. The staff are friendly and efficient. The location is near the town centre and about 15 minutes walk from the station. Next time I visit Westport, I'll definitely look to stay there again.

Easy to find right in the town centre only 10 minutes walk from railway station. My train was running late, so I was able to let myself in. Very very comfortable bed in a gorgeous room.

My room was large, very clean and nicely furnished, with an extremely comfortable bed. The bathroom was modern and spotlessly clean. The full Irish breakfast looked delicious but I chose cereal and toast. The young lady who checked me in and also served at breakfast was welcoming, efficient and friendly.

United KingdomUnfortunately on arrival receptionist who was most courteous “could” have processed my bill and on my departure I awaited at reception when handing in my room key no one was available so I left it in reception in the belief my bill was already processed via “Hotel . Com”. On arrival at home some 4 hours later I had a very polite and courteous email informing me I had left without paying my bill. I immediately phoned the Hotel and explained and authoritized payment with the data supplied to ‘Hotel.Com’. On checking I was informed they did not have access to the data so over the phone payment was concluded. This was an oversight by the Hotel and a misunderstanding on my part believing when I booked the Hotel the payment would be processed on me checking in. Satisfactorily resolved.
Staff were very pleasant courteous, room was as expected ie; very well presented. Location was perfect to enable walking to town centre and shopping areas.
