Everything was excellent. One tiny thing. Curtains or blinds on the glass of the front door would add to the privacy in the sitting room area, but that's just a minor preference on our part. It is such a minor thing that it doesn't interfere with the enjoyment of the stay

There was absolutely nothing we didn't like.

We stayed over the Christmas holidays 2023/24. I could not recommend this property more. The location is just a few kilometers from Athlone, which is in the center of Ireland. This made it ideal for us as we were looking to visit areas all over the island. The apartment is quaint and comfortable on a very quiet country lane. But most of all, our hosts were absolutely the best. We will be visiting in Ireland again, and we plan to stay here again.

Tv Chanels weren’t working very well. It seems the internet reception was very weak that day. Other than that the place was amazing

The stove was on when we arrived which made the stay extremely cozy. It was very clean and the place was very calming and inviting

No toaster :-), however the cooker did have a grill (we didn't use it as we were visiting family and ate at their home, or in restaurants.) I didn't like leaving my rubbish at the front door, (sorry) but as we were up ready to leave at 3am, we didn't want to disturb our lovey host. I would highly recommend this property, you won't be disappointed. My grandson is already planning another visit in his head.

We took the keys from the LockBox, but the host met us on the drive. The place was spotless, very comfortable, and the fire was amazing.

The Cosy Apartment with Fire Stove is exactly that. 8 minutes outside Athlone, a private apartment at the rear of a property, secluded and private. Stylish, comfortable, and warm (really warm if you have the fire stove on). Smart TV with all the movies and TV shows you could want for. Cooker, Fridge, Freezer, Washing Machine, Microwave, Extra Bedding, and then some. Host met us even though it was extremely late and gave us a run down of the property as well as eating suggestions. I would absolutely recommend this accommodation to anyone.

Instructions on how to get there could have been clearer for non-irish citizens. We do not use the postcode method of location so it was a little confusing.

Provided little extras like cooking oil and a few spices - makes all the difference when you're travelling.

A small welcome pack of a small milk and bread etc would have helped as we arrived late and had not picked up anything on the way down from the boat but a minor detail

Kathy was very nice and friendly. The communication, directions and check-in were easy and fast. The appartment had everything that was needed. There is a bed sofa in the living room so you have two seperated sleeping rooms if you want. The condo is situated in a green and very quiet area and the nice little town of Athlone (with a castle!) is only ten minutes away by car. Kathy gave us some useful advice where to go to for shopping and eating in Athlone.

I think there could have been a wardrobe/hanging space provided for clothes but other than that nothing else negative about the place.

Lovely accommodation just a few miles out of Athlone so well positioned for the area. Very peaceful. Plenty of room for parking and it was great having the stove in the lounge area to take the chill off during the evenings. Great internal space and very comfy sofa and chairs in the lounge.
