Nothing bad stood out, only little things that just come with a little older cottage is the warm water tap sometimes takes a little to get going and the boiler making noise. But that doesn't take away from the allover great stay in the cozy cottage.

It's a lovely and indeed cozy cottage. It's nice and warm and in a perfect location, only few minutes from the beach or shops or restaurants. The host Cathrine is lovely and having scones and brown bread and jam waiting for us was a lovely touch. Also there was tea and coffee, milk and orange juice provided. So everything needed to settle in comfortably.

Lovely warm house in a great location. Catherine was quick to get back to any messages and also had some delicious homemade scones for our arrival with a few other essential groceries! Would highly recommend and hope to be back again this year 😊

The only thing we didn't like is that we didn't stay long enough. X

The location was beautiful. The cottage was clean well equipped with everything you needed and we had a sea view and mountain view. It was our first time in keel and it most certainly won't be our last. Contact with the host Catherine was very good x and the scones on arrival were beautiful x

The only thing I can think of is the shower head didn't sit in the holder so you have to hold it in one hand while showering. Not such a big deal but did make washing my hair a bit of a challenge.

The cottage was clean and warm. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals for ourselves and the scones on arrival were a lovely touch.

    Nothing. It was perfect.

We loved the cottage. Catherine was a great host who met us on arrival and thoughtfully provided us with some welcoming scones and provisions. The cottage was very cosy with comfortable beds, a good shower and decent facilites. We loved the location in Keel, a short walk to the beach, supermarket and the local pub (The Shark). We used the cottage as a base to see Achill Island with personal highlights being Keem beach and the 360 degree views from the top of the mountain (the one with the transmitters on it). Also, did the Achill Greenway Parkrun (9:30 on Saturday morning). Would love to return!

    Can't fault a thing really.

Fantastic setting looking out the front window to see the majestic Minaun Cliffs and the sea, smell the turf in the air from a very warm cosy setting. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and more! The cottage is exceptionally clean with very comfortable beds, loads of cooking utensils available . Catherine is an excellent host laying out scones and goodies to greet our arrival. We had a great much break, in a really comfortable setting.

    There was nothing to fault!

The cottage is home away from home. I got the cosy feeling as soon as I stepped inside the door. The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you could need. Every room clean, tidy and smelling fabulous. Keel beach is just over the road and is stunning. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, such a peaceful place with beautiful scenery and views.

Such a tiny minor thing but replacing current sofa with a comfortable sofa would take the place from a 9 to a 10.

Beautiful warm spotless cosy cottage, very warm & lovely beds. Fully equipped with everything you'd need & gorgeous welcome pack left for us. Right beside the beach & a small supermarket & a fantastic little pub The Shark Bait. A great little find, we will be back.

The cosiness of the property. Very nostalgic 90's feel, in a good way. Host Catherine was lovely and at hand whenever I had a question. The location was great. Ample parking. Warm house. Amazing shower. Beautiful scones. Cosy beds and very well equipped.

My wife and our two adult sons and their wives stayed. The bedrooms were a reasonable size and the beds comfortable, the bathroom was clean with ample space for towels, etc. The one slight niggle ( and it is only very slight) was there weren't enough comfortable chairs for six adults to relax in after a day on the beach, or after our evening meal. I guess the actual area of the living-room would have made it a bit too cluttered to have added a further chair, but that aside, please, please do not be put off staying here. The "pluses" far outnumber any "minuses" many times over.

Ideal location to explore Keel; very friendly host. Everything was provided - towels, kitchenware, etc - together with a welcoming tray of home-made scones, and fresh milk and orange juice in the decent-sized fridge. Situated less than five minutes from Keel beach, and the local stores, and The Beehive Craft Centre (to visit is an absolute MUST). Ample room for six adults to sit round the spacious breakfast bar for spag bol and glasses of vino.
