The room we were in, whilst very comfortable, was a bit dated. It wouldn’t put me off staying again though!

It was very cosy and homely. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant was fabulous both at breakfast and dinner. Very family friendly too.

Room decor looks dated and tired. Bathroom tiles worn/grimy. Toilet seat moves about. Shower appears uninviting but functions well. The room was very noisy - must have been overlooking bar or function area and there was loud music and general revelry until well after midnight. The room was adjacent to some kind of lift shaft or similar which was also noisy until early hours. Other guests were very loud returning to their rooms in the early hours and the bedroom door was in no way noise proofed.

Lovely dinner & Breakfast. Very friendly staff, particularly on reception. Room was reasonably priced, comfortable, clean, bathroom a bit tired but plenty of hot water and clean.

The hotel in places was very tied and could do with some updating particularly more where there was only one pair of power sockets above the desk area and none by the bed and with modern technology some USB ports would have been a great addition. The bathroom decor was very tired with cracked floor tiles, broken toilet seat and shower control knob feel off when turned on. The bath surface was extremely slippery and almost impossible to stand up on.

Rebecca was brilliant to sort out a room and update me promptly that I could get into about 1.30 am due to flight and drive from Cork, for a funeral a few hours later that morning. Was a big relief to know I could get in at that time

I have driven (or been driven) through this town back and forth incalculable times over the last 50 years, never stopping, always on my way to or from one elsewhere or another but unexpectedly needed to stay there. This hotel was a revelation. It's immaculately clean, with very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is substantial but the thing that truly amazed and delighted me was the power and temperature of the shower. Often hotel showers just drip lukewarm water on you but when I turned it up, this was like a TV game show were you have to walk forward to make progress against a firehose and it was as hot as you could want. Excellent. Comfortable rooms with a good black out and parking right outside.

Came for what I thought was early dinner. Menu was limited. What I picked was completely unappetizing like from a bad carvery. Had to leave it. Then, as I was leaving I saw someone else get a different menu which looked good. To say I was mad would have been an understatement especially since I was hungry.

Couldn't adjust the heat down in the room so was very warm at night.

The hotel was very warm and clean. Food was delicious and staff were very polite and helpful. Nice powerful shower. Would highly recommend this hotel.
