Best Holiday Experience To Be Had In Ireland

There was absolutely nothing I would change.

The hosts were amazing, very welcoming & friendly. Our bell tent was superb. 2 double beds & a single bed, a 2 seater sofa & plenty of furniture, a fan & an electric stove. Plenty of power points by each bed & chair. We had plenty of space to move around inside the tent even with our luggage . We traveled as a family, 2 adults, a teenager & an child. Bedrooms were spotlessly clean. Beds & pillows were super comfortable & beds had 2 duvets each incase our less than average Irish temperatures hit ( we can get 4 seasons in one day here in Ireland,) Outside the tent was a 6 seater picnic table & plenty of solar lights & on site a fully equipped 24hour kitchen with plenty of cooking facilities, fridges & freezers to store food safely. A laundry room with plenty of washers & dryers, , toilets & Showers with an abundance of hot water. Hairdryers available from the office. Free Tea (Barry's Tea 👌) & Coffee courtesy of the hosts in the kitchen 24/7 The games & TV room had plenty of seating & well stocked to keep kids & adults entertained. A short drive was a service station serving breakfast if you didn't fancy cooking your own & there are plenty of pubs serving delicious food. As Irish people in Ireland, we don't normally go camping but this experience has certainly changed our minds. Perfect spot for touring & seeing what beautiful Clare & Galway have to offer. We won't be spending crazy money on hotel rooms again to be met with robotic emotions & smile from hotel staff. This is a more home from home experience. We will definitely be rebooking here & if you haven't yet, please do, you won't be disappointed. If I could rate it more than 10 stars I would. Please please please book here if you are to add one thing to your Irish travel bucket list. Open May to October, go on, give it a go!!!

Just a minor point for us was that there were reconstructions going on, but that was not really a negative point rather than something we just didn't expect but it did not greatly affect our experience.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The tents are beautifully decorated and organized and very comfortable. Dave helped us all throughout the stay and his colleagues were very supportive. The general atmosphere at the campsite was very polite and nice and everybody appeared to be having a good time. The facilities are clean and functional.

    Cannot think of anything

We booked the Mongolian Yurt as a group of 5 friends for 1 night only. I was perfect. 2 doublebeds and 1 single bed. The tent was very cosy and heated when we arrived. It had plenty of lights and well as enough plugs to charge our electronic devices. Towels as well as earplugs were provided because if its windy the tent can be a bit noisy but with the earplugs i had a great sleep. The bathrooms were just a few steps away from the tent. 2 Shower token each were provided additional could be purchases. It was very clean. There was also a kitchen were tea and coffee was available. We got good tips about what to do in the area from the friendly owners/employees of the glamping. Location is good, next to one pub a few others maybe 10-15 minutes walk. Cliffs of moher a short drive away.

We were very unlucky with the weather. The night we were staying here was the night of the storm in the area. Unfortunately, even the best tent couldn't hold that strong of a wind from disturbing us. We had earplugs, but we could not fall asleep until 4 a.m. (even after drinking the whole bottle of wine :D). I recommend this place a lot! Just take the weather into account when booking, cause we didn't.

It's hard to imagine a cozier place than the tent we stayed in! Lights, cushions, and all of the accessories really make it look special. Even though the bathrooms and kitchen are outside and shared with many people, they were very clean and well-maintained. It was our first glamping experience, and we'll definitely try it again :)

It was hard to find breakfast! That's more an issue with Doolin, though. The morning I left not a single cafe was open. Had I known to bring my own food I could have saved myself a lot of trouble.

The glamping tent was just so dang cozy. I arrived at the tail end of a hurricane, and despite the massive winds and chills the tent stayed strong and warm. Besides being livable, the inside had such a cool vibe with its carpeted floor and choice of decor. I found very little reason to need or want to leave!

LOVED the glamping experience in Doolin. I was a solo female traveler who found this to be a fun way to see the area. My only regret was that I only stayed one night. The staff were incredibly helpful and nice. I felt completely safe in the tent and all comforts had been considered. I would totally recommend this to anyone who wants to try glamping. You can walk to pubs and they make your stay quite memorable.

The only fault I can find is that I found the mattress in the tent a tad uncomfortable, so a broken night sleep was had.

The setup of Riverside camping & glamping is great. The glamping tents are cosy and clean, staff were very friendly and just a lovely chill atmosphere on the site. All in all, I would definitely come back to Riverside and would absolutely recommend to friends
