The staff, they were extremely nice and helpful, and very professional at the same time, always had smiles on there faces and made you feel comfortable. The experience, it is a unique place and setting, every part of the resort offers something different., in its architecture and design to its relaxing and friendly atmosphere. The scenary, even though we were there while the weather was pretty poor, you could see and hear the waves from the sea and golfers in the backdrop... amazing.

Not much. Steak dinner was tiny for the price. Chips were overcooked. But no big deal.

The location is stunning. The facilities are very comfortable and the staff were always eager to please.

Thé booking system not very clear .. we ended up sharing a cottage and having one bedroom upstairs and one downstairs ! wasn’t very clear but staff solved it on the spot

The staff were exceptional from the minute we checked in , we were made feel very welcome. Special shout-out to Jamie in the bar☺️ We stayed in the links cottages which were warm & cosy. The food was out of this world and we enjoyed breakfast the following morning with a fabulous view! Looking forward to a return visit.

The most welcoming and homely hotel we've ever stayed in. The staff make this hotel, they are just on another level of friendliness, the hotel and location is amazing and the food was top standard. We are already planning our return trip.

Unfortunately the Ocean View restaurant wasn’t open due to the time of year so we went to the bar to eat. The mushroom soup was lovely but the Thai chicken salad was mediocre, battered cold chicken ( it didn’t say the chicken was going to be battered and really it would have been better without it but at the at least serve it hot) and the salad itself wasn’t that tasty. I expected more because everything else was so on point. Our meal in one of the village pubs was far better. A shame really. Everything else was fab!

This place is amazing! It’s luxurious without being over the top. The breakfast was outstanding, the best I’ve had yet! The staff were warm and friendly. The location is fabulous, perfect for a chilled break.

I think the lighting in the bathroom was horrid. They need to do a better job with that. Secondly, they need to think more about 'women' in getting ready in morning. No place to be comfortable blow drying hair, and makeup. It was off season so not alot of people on premise. I would think that in a case like that, the Hotel would provide free upgrades to guests. There were rooms right at the main inn and they were empty. I am sure those rooms are pricier but in my opinion, by giving a free upgrade it would entice me to come back.

We really enjoyed our stay. The 2 BR suite was great. We are not golfers but wanted to stay there because of its proximity to the to the places we were visiting. The room was nice. We had a problem with turning the heat and when asked the instructions they gave us did not work. But all in all was very good.

The wet rooms in the spa were limited and separate male/female areas which was not what we expected or wanted as a couple.

The links cottages were so comfortable and presented to a high standard. We enjoyed the luxurious standard of the accommodation.

Fabulous staff - made lots of extra effort as this was the last stop on our honeymoon. Very comfortable bed. We loved the cottage and were impressed that it was equipped with everything we could possibly need. My husband loved the golf course.
