Could not fault a thing. Seamus has thought of every thing down to the fine detail.

Excellent from start to finish. Seamus couldn’t be more informative or attentive to any needs or didn’t leave any question unanswered. Little touches upon arrival, home made bread milk in the fridge for a cup of tea after a long drive. Accommodation was excellent clean spacious and great location. House had anything you could possibly think off. Couldn’t fault a thing.

Downings is lovely particularly in good weather, the beach is clean, unspoilt & welcoming. We stayed during the Downings festival & it added to the atmosphere which was family friendly & relaxed.

Excellent location, pristine clean house with lots of helpful touches including logs for the fire and a couple of disposable BBQs. Séamus gives a great welcome, is super helpful and I cannot recommend this property enough. Will be recommending to friends and others and hoping to return soon. A great find for a family break.

There was honestly nothing that we didn't like.

Our host was absolutely amazing . Met us on arrival and advised us of all the local attractions and activities. The house was so clean and tidy . Absolutely beautiful. So many nice little touches such as fresh wheaten on arrival. Beds where so comfortable and clean and the location was absolutely stunning. Everything was a short drive or walk away. We will definitely be back here . The perfect place to spend quality time with family and relax.

Cottages have everything you need for a comfortable stay. We stayed in a round tower which had amazing views out over Downings Bay..cottages are convenient to shops, bars, restaurants and beautiful beaches. Seamus is a brilliant host who went out of his way to make us feel welcome, even arriving with wine, beer and chocolates to celebrate New Year's Eve. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Absolutely love going to Downings for a long weekend trip. Seamus is so accommodating each & every time we have been there. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else other than Coastguard Cottages as it is just so convenient to Downings town & the restaurants & pubs are fabulous😍
