The property had blinds throughout . If you’re travelling with young children you will need black out for the windows. We just used black bags (provided) and it worked a treat.

Seamus, had everything we needed for a home away from home experience. Clean towels, tea towels and fresh white bedding. The view from the property was just stunning.

Seamus is a brilliant host. I had requested a walk in shower. Seamus phoned me the night before we arrived to explain all the accommodation he had. He advised an apartment which was perfect - accessible bathroom facilities and spacious apartment with wonderful views. The heating had been put on and the apartment was lovely and warm. Seamus visited us shortly after we arrived and explained about the heating, bins etc. The information pack was brilliant - clear information with maps of the local area. The wheaten bread, butter, jam, milk, tea, coffee and sugar left for us was great - the bread was delicious. The apartment was quiet and we used the picnic table outside. Great fridge, laundry facilities and equipped kitchen. Seamus called before we left to chat about our stay - everything was perfect and we’ve spread the word of the wonderful accommodation and host. Highly recommended

Could not fault a thing. Seamus has thought of every thing down to the fine detail.

Excellent from start to finish. Seamus couldn’t be more informative or attentive to any needs or didn’t leave any question unanswered. Little touches upon arrival, home made bread milk in the fridge for a cup of tea after a long drive. Accommodation was excellent clean spacious and great location. House had anything you could possibly think off. Couldn’t fault a thing.

Downings is lovely particularly in good weather, the beach is clean, unspoilt & welcoming. We stayed during the Downings festival & it added to the atmosphere which was family friendly & relaxed.

Excellent location, pristine clean house with lots of helpful touches including logs for the fire and a couple of disposable BBQs. Séamus gives a great welcome, is super helpful and I cannot recommend this property enough. Will be recommending to friends and others and hoping to return soon. A great find for a family break.
