A wonderful house: nice layout, great outdoor spaces both at the back and front of the house. The room was really spacious. The breakfast was really tasty and plenty and the lady in charge of the house was very friendly. We felt welcomed and well treated.

I dare to say it's one of the best B&Bs in Europe in terms of value for money. The hosts are extremely hospitable. Penny prepared delicious Irish breakfasts for us, for which we are especially grateful. The premises are beautiful and clean. The surroundings are exceptionally picturesque, with ample parking space available. In the kitchen, you can find a wide range of teas, as well as coffee and cereals. There's plenty of useful information for tourists inside, and the hosts are happy to share tips. Thank you again, Penny, for your hospitality. Greetings from Ukraine.

Breakfast Room overlooking a wonderful matured and well maintained garden. The table beautifully laid with attractive cloth, condiments, cutlery, brown bread, butter, jam and marmalade. The full Irish breakfast replete with bacon, egg, sausages, black and white pudding, tomato; however, the over-easy egg was hard and the sausages and puddings not cooked long enough (the former being cream rather than brown).

Beautiful location and gardens, supreme cleanliness, most cordial proprietress, well furnished and comfortable bedroom and all at a reasonable cost.

Quite simply the best Bed and Breakfast that I have ever stayed in. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was the best we had in Ireland and the bed was amazingly comfortable.

The room could do with one or two handy electrical sockets to recharge one's mobile. Obviously there are sockets but in awkward places.

The host is a charming and friendly lady. Our room was large and comfortable. Bathroom was on the small side but perfectly sufficient. Breakfast was excellent.

Had some issues figuring out the lock on the doors, but that could have been me and the wine consumed from the castle that night! A few bugs around the room (spiders, daddy long legs), but honestly I get them in my own house so who cares. Walking back from Bunratty is single track road only, which is a bit dodgey in the dark as no lights. Hardly a slight on the Dunaree but might be a bit dodgey walking back after too many.

Stopped here on my own on an impromptu trip to Ireland from the UK. Owners were very friendly. Room was clean, and shower pressure was fantastic. I usually have issues with sleeping when away, due to noise and temperature. I must say, when I got in on the night it was dead silent. Can’t remember the last time I heard it so quiet. Room temperature was perfect. Bed was comfy, I slept great. Breakfast was great, cooked Irish breakfast with yoghurt fruit and cereal. Short walking distance from Bunratty, did not take long at all, minutes from the Castle. Can’t state enough how friendly the owners were. If I’m this way in Ireland again, I would absolutely not hestitate to book again.
