I would have liked to use the hot tub and sauna but there was additional charges to use anything in the thermal suite.

Very spacious hotel, great food &entertainment and a choice of bars. The spa is great too.

Paying 35 euro each for the Spa was way over the top, that's 70 euro for two people and on top of that a time restriction. There is no other pool to use and nothing else to do in the hotel. I miss the lovely fluffy towels in the rooms, towels seem like cheap ones now.

Lovely big room, beds are so comfortable and big had a great nights sleep. Very quiet no noise. The breakfast was gorgeous with lots of options for dairy and gluten free. Staff were very helpful. Very relaxing stay.

Could find very little to not like. Apart from the temperature in the room being a little too hot, the rest was absolutely sublime.

Friendly staff, very nice selection of breakfast, room was very nice, did not try the spa as I was too busy with work. For breakfast I had the scrambled eggs with salmon which was quite interesting as I have never had that before. Then the next few days I tried the pancakes with golden syrup and did not stop having that for the next few days with some cereal.

The fitness centre and swimming pool are very dated and in quite poor decorative order and in need of investment.

The staff were extrmely friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size and the breakfast was very good.

All our dislikes come down to a massive shortage in staff. The ones that are there, are doing their best & are super polite under preasure. We were an hour over check in time( 3pm) waiting for our room to be cleaned & ready. While I don't want a dirty room an hour is a bit much. We were 45min waiting for our afternoon tea for 2. We waited 30min for our beverages to be served to us after ordering & paying for them in the lounge bar. The furniture in the rooms are tired & old. That said the beds are super comfy & the TV and shower is very modern. Lastly the SPA. The thermal suite is a disaster, half the utilitys are out of service.. The pool floor has cracked tiles, so unhygienic & dangerous. The general towels for day users are not that much bigger than a hand towel and feel like a T towel. You only get slippers and robes if your having treatments. Let me add that we were but the following day and when I mentioned this to the receotion desk at the spa she told me they wouldn't have any spare robes for us this day. I've never been to a spa hotel in my life where the robes & slippers are not provided to you in your room. Especially when your booked for treatments. It shouldn't matter what day your having the treatments on. It's such a pity as the therapists here are wonderful and very knowledgeable. It's a very costly Spa, that looks the part but does not fully deliver in quality.

The staff were beyond helpful, kind, considerate and friendly. Particularly Niambh on reception & Catherine in the Spa. The Relaxation room is very comfortable in the Spa. The hotel itself is pretty., the room was spotless, little mini fridge was a great addition. The breakfast was fab, afternoon tea & cheese board are fantastic. Value for money where food is concerned. .

there was a wedding when we had our stay - and you could tell all attention of the hotel was going there. I understand it's a day to remember for the couple, however it was a bit too much attention for them versus the 'others'
