Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomOur only suggestion would be to update the boardgames due to missing pieces but this didnt effect our overall stay
Father Teds caravan exceeded our expectations, it was such a fun place to stay, the inside of the caravan was much bigger than it appears and the bed was so comfortable. We will definitely be back for another visit

United KingdomIt was a little more rustic than expected. The caravan smelt of damp and there was mould on the walls and ceiling. Be aware there is no electric so maybe take some extra torches with you.
Wonderful, friendly hosts in a perfect location. Complete silence and absolute darkness. Caravan is quirky. An experience for those with a sense of humour who are not too fussy.

IrelandThere was very little to no reception or WiFi, which was a pain if you needed to contact anyone or play music on Spotify. The hob did not work for us, but we had our own camping stove that we keep in the car, so we just used that, I do love my tea, so I would recommend that you bring your own stove or electric kettle if you can, just incase. 🤷♀️
This is exactly what I expected: clean, comfortable, and away from it all. There was everything you needed here to switch off and enjoy a few nights away. We loved the outdoor shower (towels provided and robes too🤗), and the bed was really comfy with extra blankets in the press if you need them. The caravan is solar powered, so we were able to charge phones, ect. We loved sitting out in front of the fire, listening to the ocean, and watching the stars. The town is close enough too, if you need anything. There are neighbours on both sides of you though... .so you might not be walking around naked as much as you'd like too🤣 I would definitely return. 😍

IrelandOne thing the does let it down is the fact that there is a fridge in the caravan but it’s not actually connected up to electric, was glad we brought our own Travel Fridge. One minor thing was the Caravan could be a little more solid as in the stabiliser legs could be adjusted and even concrete paving slabs could be put down under them to help it stabilise itself better. But they’re minor things and was still a great experience and stay for both of us.
Everything, but the bit we loved the most was Showering in the Bath basically outside, we both loved it even though it was the first time we experienced a shower outdoor. Also the Toilet was an experience on it own lol!

IrelandI hate leaving poor reviews but few things ticked me off. No electricity..works on solar but just for plugs..no lights etc .thankfully host found a replacement battery pack so I could charge my phone which was almost dead. No WiFi, recommend asking host to ensure it is topped up before you arrive, apparently he did this but I was not able to receive message as no coverage around the area at all so was totally cut off..and had spent enough time wasted wandering up and down the road. .solar lights didn't work so had to go to bed early as no lights to read by and no music as no WiFi...I had resigned to not letting it effect my stay but unfortunately had I known in advance no electricity I would have brought a head.torch. I also think hosts are a bit overly enthusiastic about the hardwood floors, carpets, beachside, hottub..bedside plug, fridge ( there is one but no electricity but had a coolbox but wasn't plugged in) etc..none of above are true. . I wish description had been more honest as it has plenty to offer but please don't lie. Also bathroom floor mat was completely saturated which was very icky... Just remove it. Overpriced and a bit disheveled. Needs some love.
Loved the quirkiness of the whole place, lots of stuff on walls etc, nothing matches which was cool. Lovely quiet area... No traffic. Was met by nice host. Nice to relax, fire pit was nice.
