The location was ideal. directly beside the cathedral, and the food was outstanding. Alex, who welcomed us, put us at ease and all the staff were brilliant. It was great being above the café and beside Hartes, but despite the central location the windows blocked the noise so we could sleep peacefully.

The room was very comfortable with a great view but I found some unpleasant stains on the bed sheets, I unfortunately also found a dirty wet cloth in the shower which I assume was used for cleaning the room.

The location was superb since it was close to everything including both bus and train stations. It also offered brilliant discounts in the cafe, the gasto pub next door and kildare village.

Absolutely nothing to improve

Staff were fantastic; pleasant and helpful. The room was great and the bed huge and comfortable. Coffee machine, water and crisps as little extras.

We stayed before it was fantastic and was really looking forward to our return stay our room 10 was next to air condition unit it ran all night it drove me mad , but I most say it’s a beautiful place and I will be going back, the rooms are excellent and exceptional clean

There was nothing wrong

Easy of check in, the lovely pleasant staff and the property itself was absolutely gorgeous, plenty of tea and coffee and spotlessly clean.the cafe breakfast was divine.

Our family room was very spacious and full of light. Very comfortable beds and lovely shower. Discount off food in restaurant and Gastro Pub next door. Food in Hartes was excellent.

This has been our favorite place to stay since traveling. The room was beautiful. The bed was so comfortable and the first good. Ishtar sleep we had in a long time. The bathroom was huge, beautiful and had many safety features for those having wheelchairs or mobility issues. Very convenient location and a great restaurant below.

Friendly staff , attentive to your arrival time. Great communication. Lovely rooms. Handy location. Always perfectly presented ! Even a sneaky packet of crisps waiting for your arrival.

Stayed here before and have found it perfect both times, room and bathroom were absolutely spotless, bed was comfortable, room was modern. Seriously perfect. Would absolutely recommend, best rooms in kildare by a long shot.

The location was perfect and the food, service and staff at both The Firecastle and Hartes restaurant were excellent. we had a couple of very small issues which were sorted immediately, thank you, we will return…..

Very limited parking. Spaces very close when trying to park or reverse out.

The room was luxurious, beautiful bed linen, very comfy bed. Great shower. Coffee maker and snacks a lovely touch! Lovely lighting options in the room. View of St. Brigid's Cathedral right outside my window. Zero noise all night so had a great sleep. Delicious breakfast next door. Looking forward to a return visit soon! The only negative for me was the very limited and tight parking spaces in the car park. Otherwise 10/10 and 5 stars!

A fridge in the room would have been nice but not the end of the world.

The location was lovely and the room was very nice with lovely decor and nice touches like free crisps and water in the room with a great coffee machine.

I loved the ease of checking in and out, the location and the decor of the room.

The only downside is the parking. But, if you are out and about there is a car park which is free from 1700 to 0900 a 2 minute walk away.

Great location, large comfortable rooms. Hosts are really nice people. Our room(5) looked into the cathedral. Short walk to the bus stop and the train station.
