I would suggest having a hand rail/banister at the top of the staircase for people with mobility issues/children - my elderly Mother was extremely nervous going up and down the stairs! Also the tap in the upstairs bathroom has a very very slow flow of water, but that’s just a minor thing.

A beautiful house located in a scenic area of Sligo, the river walk is literally at the end of the road! Spotlessly clean and the hosts left some really nice touches such as leaving cereal, fresh bread and milk for us upon arrival, also ample towels etc are available. I would say this is the best place I have stayed at on Booking.com!

This is a charming house well located not far from the center of Sligo - very modern and compact with nice artistic touches. Three bedrooms upstairs were very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped, and nicely provisioned with breakfast supplies and other staples.

Exceptionally clean and the location is so quiet,very central and the passage tomb in front of the house was a real treat. Lovely walk into town by the river. The house had everything we needed and the hosts were just a phone call away if required. Lovely touch of bread, milk etc on arrival. Beds extremely comfy. We would definitely stay here again.

The apartment is great, we had a fantastic stay. There is everything available in the kitchen (breakfast basics, toaster, oven, a lot of different kitchen gadgets etc.) as well as in the bathrooms (towels, shampoo, conditioner). And there is also a washing machine incl. dryer available. Very cozy place to stay. It is about a 10-15 minutes walk away from the center but that's no problem. Supermarkets are nearby and in general the area very silent and nice. Would recommend it to everyone!

There is a code for the front door you can not access without the code, but I would have felt a little more comfortable being able to lock the front door from the inside when going to sleep.

Both property and privacy were amazing with the town 5-7 minute walk away. The Visitor's book giving details of everything for you to do and see in Sligo was very helpful. I felt at home with access to Netflix, and cosy fire place was exceptional. Our hosts were extremely friendly and checked in by message while we stayed to see if we needed anything and also had anything we needed before we arrived, which really was helpful. I would definitely stay again!

If you are scent sensitive you'll want to ask them to remove the scents from the kitchen and lounge and to not leave the toilet bowl cleaner in the bowl. The place had far too much scent upon first entering.

11am check out on a Sunday morning is rough when its a town location. I would stay here again but that early check out is a big turn off, as you need to be up early to clean and pack.

The house was nicely decorated, beds was really comfy, easy to control the heat, shower had great pressure and temp. Also we could walk into the town. It was also near the water to walk to the woods. They left milk, toast, butter and jam, which went down a treat in the mornings.

The mattress on the double bed is very hard. A banister on both sides of the stairs would make it feel safer. The kitchen taps have low pressure - the hot water is just a trickle. The downstairs shower room is very cold because of wind coming in from around the window. More hooks for hanging clothes would be helpful.

The house is very well appointed and has just about everything you need. There's a smart heating system and a Google Mini, a video recorder and a Smart TV. The keypad door entry system is great - no worries about keys. The location is excellent, near the Garavogue river, walking distance from the town and Doorly Park.
