The property is about a mile outside the village of Croom, it is a classic two story farmhouse. I loved the large room with an en-suite, everything was spotless. The breakfast was lovely… Thank you so much Kathleen.

There is nothing we did not like.

Loved the beautiful grounds and rooms with all the lovely details and glimpses into the family who owns the home! Also getting to see and pet the horses on site was amazing. Robbie & Kathleen were very friendly and welcoming!

Nothing to add here - if we could give 20/10, we would!

This was probably the loveliest and most charming stay of our wee tour of Ireland. Kathleen was a pleasure to stay with from start to finish. Room was simply gorgeous, like taken from a romantic novel. Very comfy, especially the bed, and spacious. Nothing to complain about (except that our stay was way too short). Breakfast was plentiful and nice change from usual cooked breakfast, we thought. The house is a little remote, so Kathleen's directions (sent well in advance of our trip may I add) were much appreciated and were spot on. The remoteness gives it very peaceful atmosphere.

Everything about this place was perfect.

Loved everything about this place. Absolutely wonderful accommodation in a beautiful old home. Kathleen is the perfect host who goes over and above to make your stay perfect. The bed was so comfortable and the room was lovely. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Felt extremely spoilt here. Highly recommend this place. You will love it

The house is a bit old, so the facilities are not the fresh ones. Also the bathroom and the toilet in our room were out of the room, which is not the perfect.in addition it was nice to have kind of insect net, because we left the light and a the room was full of insects.

Kathleen the host, is very kind woman. The whole feeling is, like visiting your grandmother in countryside , she was so welcomed, the house and the hospitality so warm. I was a bit cold, and she offered a free-help yourself access to her private drinks. a few portions of whiskey made my sleep perfect.

Lovely dog friendly Victorian house with quirky bits of decoration. Room had bathrobes and slippers as well as tea and coffee facilities. Toilet and bathroom area were down the corridor however they were for our sole use and seemed fitting with the Victorian feel of the house. The room was comfortable to sleep in. Ideal location for where we were going and a nice continental breakfast to start our day.

The house is set in a gorgeous, calm landscape, the views from our windows could not have been more appeasing. Very good breakfast in a beautifully set breakfast room. We had a private bathroom, although not directly connected to the bedroom, and were pleasantly surprised that the host had prepared bathrobes and slippers - very nice touch!

Very friendly and welcoming host. Location is good if you want a nice quiet place. Easy to find. Bed was comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom were a plus. Decent water pressure in the shower too. Stayed here for a night on my way to Kerry and would definitely stay again.

We couldn’t charge our phones , the plugs were so low to the floor that the adapter didn’t fit . My teenager and my husband both said they would have loved a cooked breakfast instead continental cheese, ham & smoked salmon.

Due to my personal preference I did love the old house feel, antique furniture and decor, however might be dated for others . lovely host and pleasant .

The only suggestion I have regarding the room is, a small round table would make a great addition. There is a glass topped shelf, and it was a little difficult sitting at that with our tea and coffee.

The breakfast was continental, and for us that was enough.

Some of the furniture is delicate owing to its age which made us afraid if we damaged it. It’s a hard compromise when the furniture is in keeping with cottage feel of the room. Shame there was no cooked breakfast but what was available was lovely.

Helpful and friendly host. Very quiet and peaceful location and a comfortable bed made a good nights sleep easily achievable.

The house itself was absolutely beautiful, Kathleen was so lovely and welcoming. She was kind enough to give us a lift into limerick after we checked out, she truly went above and beyond! The room was massive with a walk in wardrobe and it's own bathroom. For breakfast we enjoyed the continental breakfast served in the dining room in the morning 😊
