The room could use updating and there weren't any open restaurants in town. Only takeaway

Everyone was very nice. The location is ideal and the room and pub was clean.

The bedroom could have been warmer as we arrived. However, we were not in there for very long as we had to go out into Glin to eat. This question is inappropriate as there was nothing that we did not like. It was different. The local takeaway was suggested and we were invited to bring it back to enjoy in the Magpie Bar where there was a very welcome and warm open fire.

'Continental' whereas all other B&Bs during our holiday had offered or included a 'Full Irish'. Better for the waist-line??? The breakfast room was a 'kitchen bar', again a more plain setting than we had met previously. This was not a detriment, just different. The family couple were very friendly and entertaining at breakfast.

Situated above the pub it was noisy until 2am on a Saturday morning. The room was too small to keep the window closed, so it was difficult to get some sleep.

Awfully nice and obliging hosts make you feel so welcome. The shared bathroom was clean and comfortable.

The room was clean and comfortable. The host was kind and we had great time. They give us private bathroom and we really appreciated it. The continental breakfast was ok.

Shower didn't work properly. Temperature fluctuated from extreme hot to extreme cold. We didn't report it as it was too late by the time we checked in and had a shower. I'm sure they would have fixed it if I had.

Small but quiet and clean room in a stylish Irish pub. As no food was served in the pub and other restaurants were closed at the day of our stay, we were allowed to bring take-away food for dinner. Friendly and helpful host, good breakfast, which covered all needs of cyclists.

Slightly surly reception by member of bar staff though I suspect it was his manner rather than intentionally unfriendly. Breakfast was very adequate though meats and cheeses still in packets and also instant coffee.

Nice rooms in house across the road. Extremely friendly and helpful owner couple.
