its all uphill to the pods, I didnt mind at all, but just make sure you were comfortable shoes

I liked that we were so close to the village of Laragh that we could walk to the village and get something to eat. The bathroom facilites are spotless, would highly recommend Glendalough glamping

We cannot think of anything we did not like here!

The setting is beautiful and peaceful. We were warmly welcomed and slept very well on the comfortable bed. It is a short walk into the village for delicious dinner and a pint with friendly people at the pub. Everything was done so well and built so nice. So close to Glendalough and all the hikes.

We were in one of the furthest cabins from the parking lot and hauling our bags up there was a pain, the original bed preference request was not met at first and staff had to be called, had to be pretty forceful when locking the door

Staff was incredibly friendly in both advice for the night & future Ireland travel, the morning was beyond picturesque because of the location, and the shared facilities were spotless!

The lamp posts were not on when we arrived at night. It was scary walking up to the pods during the night time.

I loved the pods and the scenery. The bathrooms smelled like cherry and was very clean always.

I stayed there with my friends and we booked 4 pods. Each pods has the basic amenities (except for toilet as it is common for the whole glamping area). Surprised how soundproof the pods are as we cannot hear anything from outside when we stayed there during the night. There's a portable heater and/or fan in each pods. The kitchen is available for use for everyone and each pod has their own assigned kitchen cutleries. The owners are very nice and they are very accommodating. We requested to have our pods closed to each other and granted our request. Over all, we are delighted with our stay and will definitely will be back again.

no bathroom in pods. bring a decent flashlight as the one provided is weak. also, bring your own food and coffee from town because the corner store down the road is quite expensive for supplies. no internet in pods.

beautiful and peaceful spot- also served as an excellent base to take day trips and sightseeing across the county. pods were extremely clean and smelt amazing (like freshly chopped wood). we were also very warm despite the rain and cool November air. facilities (showers and common area) were immaculate. there is a 5-7 minute walk down the road to the local pub!

We can't fault Glendalough Glamping. It is a remote area, so a car is necessary. There is a lovely bar, Lyhams of Laragh, 5 minutes walk away - for food and drinks, as well as a cafe for coffee. Patrick also had great recommendations for walks and cycling.

The glamping pods were cosy, warm and very clean and the bed was comfortable. We also had a lovely scenic view. Patrick had lights and heating on ready for our arrival. Check in was straight forward. Kitchen had great facilities and easy to use appliances, with everything you could need to cook. Bathrooms clean too.

no complaints! be aware that wifi is only available in the common kitchen that closes at 9pm, but that's intentional so that you can enjoy the quiet and truly disconnect and relax. the best views are in the cabins higher up the hill!

relaxing, quiet and unique stay in an absolutely stunning location. it's so easy to do this as a 1-2 night trip from Dublin, and the location is perfect. I didn't have a car and there are easy hiking trails right near the property to get to glendalough and the trails around the lakes; it's also so easy to walk down the hill to the restaurants in the small town. so cute, clean, and a great alternative to a traditional hotel/b&b. host was super friendly and accommodating.
