Unfortunately we could not access the playroom for our toddlers as it was not open. It would be good if there was a family room available without the single bed to allow for extra space for toddler cots.

The location of the hotel was great for access to the town and it has a shopping centre directly across the street which was great. The breakfast in the hotel and lunch at Shoda market was fantastic. Access to the hotel pool was available until 8pm which was great for the children and on days when the weather was not good. The room itself was a good size for a family.

    Tired rooms no air conditioning

We were very fortunate as were given the bridal suite but others in our party got standard rooms which are dated and tired. We had no air conditioning so very stuffy the staff were great breakfast fabulous.

It was quite expensive the night we stayed. We couldn't get a taxi into an event we were going to in the city.

It would have been better if breakfast was included in the cost.

Breakfast was absolutely great. You know it's good when the scrambled eggs aren't rubbery. Great selection of food. Room was good, staff was great. The decor around the hotel was great too. Within very easy reach of the town.

Took 30 minutes to get out of the carpark in the morning, maynooth in general is a bit of a traffic nightmare at the best of times though, can't be helped.

It is a large hotel, very spread out and, depending on the room they allocate you, it could be a long walk.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful; the rooms where sizable with a very confortable bed and very nice shower.

We could walk to town, stroll along the canal, and even had a nearby playground. The property includes a grocery store and shops for excellent convenience, especially important when traveling with a toddler. There was plenty of parking. Staff were super friendly and helpful! The building is beautiful. We were in one of the older rooms, but it was still really nice- large and comfy. We loved the breakfast and went to dinner at the bar twice! Delicious food in a super cozy atmosphere. We loved the pools and felt right at home. We have friends that live nearby and will certainly be staying again. We had a fantastic visit and felt at home.

The hotel is ideal for short family breaks. There is a park opposite and a SuperValu in the adjacent shopping centre. There is plenty of free parking. It was a short walk to the town where we visited the castle and a restaurant for dinner. It was only a short drive to Clonfert petting zoo. We used the swimming pool too which was large and clean. The room was large and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the staff very welcoming.

The hot water in our room was spotty. Since we were only there for 1 night it was not a huge issue.

Katie at the front desk was wonderful. She went out of her way to check us in even though we were early and she gave us great recommendations of things to visit in town.

Restaurant staff should be better trained, very slow on busy nights Breakfast hot counter is super, but continental part should be improved. No fresh veg at all 2 tired tomatoes and very poor choice of meet and cheese, 2 of each to be exact.
