Ann is an amazing host and she is lovely. Her guesthouse is close to the city centre and it very clean. Ann is preparing a very tasteful breakfast (highly recommend the pancakes) and she finds the time to talk with you and to give you some tips regarding the city. Parking spots available.

The house is a bit dated but still met or exceeded expectations.

Just a few minutes walk from city and free secure parking. Host was very welcoming and helpful plus I had a choice of freshly cooked breakfast with everything you would find in a hotel. Thank you.

Can't think of a thing we didn't like.

Our host Ann was friendly and accommodating, fixing our breakfast however we liked. She offered good advice about sites to see and spent a few minutes each morning visiting with us, making our stay really relaxing.

I tried to air out the room - there was a bit of a scent - possibly from the lovely new carpet but it was a bit hard on my throat so I tried to leave the window open to clear it but it was closed so I spent the night with it open and the wind from a storm made things noisy.

Ann was so friendly and welcoming and we were literally 3 minutes from the venue we travelled to visit.

Ann went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, gave us suggestions for local places to eat, helped us park, and provided a fantastic breakfast each morning, even when we had to leave earlier than the normal breakfast time.

Everything about my stay here was stellar. Ann, the lady of the house, was amazing. So friendly and helpful. The room was tidy, clean and perfect. Breakfast was delicious. The location of the B&B was brilliant. You could be in the heart of Galway within a 10-minute walk.

The bathroom is too small for us, but we managed.

Breakfast is great and plenty of choices. Room is comfy and clean, just the bathroom and the shower is small. Location is great, the staffs, Miss. Ann and the owner Miss. Maries are great. They helped us with many things, answer the questions what we wanted to know. even arranged for our transportation, like booked taxi, when the taxi didn't show up, Ms. Marie took us to the tour office, so we would not miss our tour. They Even did extra with my laundry, even though laundry is not part of their service, MS. Marie kindly took my laundry to get done in town. I really appreciated their kindness and help.

Staff was great. Location was very good. And the food was very tasty in the morning. Very good value for a quick stay in Galway. I would recommend anyone who just want a simple place to stay come here

Ann was exceptionally kind and friendly. I got lost and she helped me find my way, including sorting the parking right at the door when I arrived late. She pointed me in the direction of somewhere to get dinner quickly as well. She went above and beyond to cater for my dietary requirements and then offered support in sorting my next steps when she was fully booked for the following night. Flag of my country on the table at breakfast too. Truly a warm Irish welcome! And the best shower I’ve had in Ireland too! Hot water and great pressure!

I'd forgotten what an actual Bed & Breakfast was like. I was blown away at how personable the host was, and how when I finally took advantage of the breakfast, she literally said "What would you like?" and then made that. This was the best lodging experience I've had in a long, long time.

The Griffin Lodge B&B lived up to our expectations. The room was tidy and clean, as well as the whole facility. We had choices for breakfast and the food was really good! We even got to have a little Greek flag on our table, which we found extra cute. But what really standed out was the host, Anne, an incredible and lovely woman, who made our stay special and unforgettable. We really recommend this place and we hope to be back one day!
