Due to a system error we were offered inferior room adjacent to the night club. Very noisy. The annexe room was not in the best repair…..plumbing issues and a damaged bathroom door.

Hotel rooms tend to be very warm and it is hard to cool them. Although we had a room on the top floor, when we opened the window there was quite some noise from large ventilators on the ground floor. Fortunately we always have earplugs with us on our trips.

The location is very good. An easy walk to various sights, while there are several bars next to the hotel (which don't give trouble for sleeping), and plenty of places to eat (breakfast or dinner) nearby.

Didn't realise until 2 days before that it had a nightclub. Was ok first night as it wasn't open. 2nd night it was. Went down and got ear plugs which helped but I'd suggest taking your own as you'll know if they work well or not . At breakfast some of the food wasn't that hot ...such as bacon and sausage but it looked freshly made

The hotel was well positioned to walk around the city. Near to many of the interesting landmarks , museums etc . Beds were comfortable. Staff were helpful . Had breakfast on the 2nd morning

The room was quite hot but it did have a window I could open.

The plugs in my room didn't work and I needed to charge my phone. The staff all tried to get it resolved and when it became clear it wasn't a simple flick of a switch they offered to charge my phone safely for me, while I sat in the bar enjoying a complimentary cocktail while they fixed the power in the plugs. I thought they were really friendly and helpful and they were very busy at the time. The bar is vibey and cool and the breakfast was tasty.

    Nothing really

Breakfast was excellent and the room was very clean. Good value for money. Unfortunately I only stayed one night as my job was completed earlier than expected. I therefore lost one night's accomodation. This could happen again so I may switch to a hotel in Leeson St that does provide a refund if last minute cancellation

Close to Luas tram, easy to get to city centre, breakfast buffet was good.

New staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing. We left standing outside at midnight while the night porter ran off and locked us outside. A weird smell/ taste on the rock shore lager. Barman smelled confirmed then quickly poured it down the sink never offered another drink or checked the taps despite the gentleman down the bar having the same issue switching to Heineken. In fairness the old staff where brilliant.

The breakfast was tasty and plentiful however a few basics were missing...... Orange juice Choice of beads for toast. There was only white. Choice of cheeses and meats for continental breakfast lacking. No BROWN sauce

The room was clean and tidy despite the carpet a little threadbare. The bed was comfortable and enjoyed a good night's sleep

It was very warm when we visited, and for the price I expected air conditioning. The window only opened a little bit and it wasn't adequate to keep the room cool at night, for this reason we didn't sleep very well.

The staff were friendly and the room was clean.

Noise from the room above via the squeaking floorboards which was a nuisance and kept waking us. Also, nearby bar/pub garden was just outside the window, but the noise was acceptable at the time. The squeaking ceiling from the room above was more annoying. Also the room could do with some refreshing and modernization.

Walking proximity to the city centre, tram stop very close, good firm beds, clean overall but worn in certain parts (ie. bathroom)

The hotel is old and the rooms are a maze. You will have to walk and carry your stuff everywhere because the elevators do not reach all the rooms
