Wonderful cottage fully equipped with everything you need. Fridge with wine, butter,jam, milk yogurts. Scones, cookies lovely coffee machine.it was lovely and warm when we arrived an amazing view.

The bedroom is very comfortable though small. Suitable for staying about 3 nights rather than a week.

The view was stunning Easy walking distance to Teach Coll for food and drinks The decor and care of the cottage was superb

Thanks so much to Mary & Ronan, your hospitality was excellent, after a 3 hour journey, to arrive to a lovely warm welcome, with lovely fresh scones and criossants, and so much more, exactly want we needed. Hillside Cottage was beautiful and cosy and the perfect get away for a couple, we had everything we needed ! Waking up to look out at the sea and beach and islands view was breathtaking !! We will definitely love to come back to Hillside Cottage again !!

Nothing at all. It is perfect

Hillside cottage is a gem. It is beautifully decorated and extremely cosy. The owners have put a lot of effort into making it a place of exception. The view is absolutely breathtaking. Very friendly hosts.

Everything was perfect

This is the most marvelous cottage, I only wish I could have given it 11 out of 10! It is very well fitted out with everything that you could desire. It is small but perfect for a cosy stay for a couple. Mary and Ronan are exceptional hosts. There are personable, helpful and very hard working. The fresh eggs delivered up by the hens behind the cottage are lovely. The view is quite breathtaking, and situated to see both sunrise and sunset, and I understand the Northern Lights, but not for the three days we stayed. The ferry over to Tory is a must - a step back in time. The whole area is a lovely Irish speaking community. I would highly recommend staying here.

The Cottage is tastefully decorated to the smallest detail, very comfortable and well equipped, the sea view is absolutely amazing and everything is in pristine condition. Mary and Ronan are great hosts, very friendly and helpful and we felt more than welcomed having fresh free range eggs, fresh orange juice, pastries and everything needed for a breakfast that is not actually included. We would love to come back anytime soon!

The hosts Mary and Ronan were both very welcoming and friendly.the location of the cottage is perfect for anyone wanting to have a relaxing break. The views from the cottage are so beautiful. There has been so much love and attention put into the homely feeling of the cottage and the garden. Didn't want to leave even though we had some stormy weather. Its perfect In any weather. The hillside cottage is a wonderful place to stay. It's cosy and comfortable with spectacular views. We were made very welcome. They have thought of everything you might need and more! Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Amazing location. Clean, modern, cosy but secluded and all the facilities you could want. Perfect as a base for exploring the area and the amazing landscapes and beaches. The hosts couldn't be nicer and were very welcoming and extremely friendly. Can't wait to go back.

Not a single complaint

Peaceful, tranquil with spectacular views. Spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed and wonderful friendly hosts. Some lovely touches like fresh scones, local butter and homemade jam. Perfect and can’t recommend highly enough to anyone who looking for solitude and escape from this crazy Covid world.

Nothing loved everything about the area and the cottage
