Although the hotel advertised parking, it's not on site, there is a fee (reduced by the hotel through a voucher), and the parking is a couple of blocks away from the hotel. We arrived fairly late and it was raining (classic Ireland), so needing to navigate that distance to the parking garage was not convenient. However, it's a compromise we made to be in a great location. So just be aware, this hotel is for walkers not drivers.

Fantastic central location, a large and comfortable room and big beds. All the usual amenities - kettle, tea, coffee. The restaurant on site was nice and the staff at the front desk were very helpful.

The shower head above the bath looked very old and crusty & only released water from the small centre of it, no matter how much I tried to adjust this. That made washing long hair more difficult & the shower less refreshing. Luckily the bath had a modern hand held hose which helped. When I was checking out I was met with an unfriendly attitude from one particular male staff member, which puzzled me as I had not created any issues that I was aware of. I suspected they considered me a trouble maker for expecting my room to have air conditioning on a hot day. Luckily when I came back later to collect my luggage I was met by a friendly staff member.

When I realised the room I'd booked didn't have air conditioning the hotel offered me another room which did. That room was spacious & had good storage space too. I was also offered a free breakfast the next morning as an apology. The chef prepared mushrooms separately for me due to the others being cooked with meat, so request this if it's your preference. The room had a bath with a shower overhead. The TV included streaming apps such as Netflix & Prime. When I checked out, the hotel stored my larger luggage for me behind reception until I was travelling again later that day. While the lift was being fixed the rooms were accessed by stairs only, but there were only 36 stairs to the 2nd floor with a lounge room half way. Staff offered to help with luggage if needed.

Hotel is very conveniently located in the city centre, a bit noisy at night but the windows shut out most of that.. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, good water pressure and temperature. Amazing value for money considering the location

Those stairs, but appreciated offer of moving to another floor on following day. (This was offered without being requested. Mind you an additional benefit of break away is now we are fit as well.

Great breakfast, I loved the Eggs Benedict. The coffee could have been better. Very accommodating with add-ons. It all hit the spot after a night out. The hotel is in a perfect spot to enjoy the Latin Quarter’s shopping and nightlife. It was nice know security at the door at night, just in case…

The room I stayed in was chilly even with the heating on. The window needs to be checked as I felt a strong breeze coming off it.

It is located right in the heart of Galway city, so I had quick access to all the nearby shops, which was the main purpose of the visit.

One of the best breakfasts ever. In addition to a breakfast buffet, one can order pancakes, French toast, Eggs Benedict or some other dishes, included in the price for breakfast. Super friendly staff. Very central location. The room was okay.

The lift didn’t work and despite letting the desk know my mom (age 75) would struggle with stairs, they just sort of brushed over the comment. There was also a really strong perfume smell in the hallways.

A very nice room, surprisingly spacious, there was even room for a desk and a small table. The bathroom was very clean and big. The Hotel is located in the heart of Galway and wie could walk to every main tourist attraction.

Way way too hot. Rang reception twice to turn off heating as thermostat not working. They said they would, but it remained on for whole night. Unbearable heat. Ruined my stay, apart from that it's a good hotel. Folks fix the heating.
