Access to the various areas of the hotel is through three different elevators. My mother and I were in different sections, so it was a bit confusing for her. Also, at her age of 91 it would have made sense to give her a walk-in shower, instead she got a bathtub she dared not use for fear of falling (I got the walk-in shower, but found out too late to switch with her).

I can't recommend The Imperial Hotel enough. From the outset, it was with great ease checking in, arriving to our rooms, adding breakfast and so on. The hotel staff are excellent, professional, friendly and it was effortless when we had some minor requests. The Imperial is centrally located and is the perfect place to walk to local pubs, restaurants, attractions, the English Market and shops etc., and the hotel is a five-minute walk from a recommended carpark. The hotel amenities were spot on for our two-night stay, and need I say the bar is fantastic! The rooms are characteristic of the hotel's history and they are comfortable. We dined in the Imperial's restaurant Sketch on our second night and we can't recommend the dining experience enough. The restaurant staff were excellent and very attentive. The food (pictures attached) was fantastic. Thank you to the Imperial's staff for such a memorable stay and we look forward to more staycations in the future.

Parking was not on site, but only a 5 min walk away.

The hotel was centrally located, near all the attractions we wanted to see. We could walk everywhere. Breakfast was delicious!!

Myself and my fiancé stayed for two nights our stay was exceptional the food in the restaurant was excellent the spa escape was amazing only issue was the noise morning staff really need to keep noise down we were woken up to a lot of noise at 6:30 definitely a recommendation

From the moment we stepped out of the car the Concerige and Doorman made us so welcome. Front staff and house keeping were very friendly. Room was very comfortable and the pillows were perfect 🤩

The rooms are adequate, but not overly large. But Cork is such an interesting place,we spent little time in our room anyway.

A hotel that harked back to the glamour of past decades, with the sophistication of the era on display. Doorman, well-maintained surroundings, and attentive staff gave a special feeling. The staff were an asset too.

We booked a junior suite and the bathroom I think didn’t match the name. I have stayed in 3 star hotel where the shower was more spacious or atleast had a rain shower.

It's not something that will put me off staying here again, but when entering the hotel, you pass by the bar and restaurant area before reaching the check-in desk. It was very noisy, even in the early afternoon, and slightly distracted from the atmosphere.

Lovely room with a large, comfortable bed. Extra touches such as a minibar with complimentary drinks and customised chocolate were nice. I was very impressed with the segregated bin for recycling as I feel it is a must. The management clearly cares about guests' needs and strives to provide everything you might need during your stay. The staff were very friendly and considerate.

If there was a down side, it was the view from the bedroom window. However, given this is a hotel in the heart of the vibrant city of Cork, why on earth would you be sat in your room looking out the window?

This is an elegant, sophisticated and stylish establishment that truly lives up to its reputation as a classic hotel. From the moment you pull up outside to the moment you leave the staff are attentive, polite and kind. Nothing is too much for any of them. The building is spectacular, particularly the cathedral like main foyer, and the place is spotless. The rooms are large and the beds huge. With 24/7 front desk service you will want for nothing during your stay here.
